Artaud and the ten Artauds sit in eleven armchairs at the same time in eleven different cities. Neither Artaud nor any other of the Artauds knows this particularity in their lives. Each and everyone is convinced that they are unique, an essential piece in the design of the universe. But they are eleven identical figures moving in unison and dreaming the same dreams. Of course, Artaud and each of the other Artauds has a particularity that distinguishes them; for example the initial Artaud likes to collect glazed paper packets, and the resident Artaud thirty kilometers northwest of the first one to eat omelette on Fridays. And it is not that each Artaud has a chink in harmony with the others: all Artauds collect icing paper sachets and eat omelettes on Fridays, but only one likes it. Each one has a different explanation for the description of the reason for their actions but, in the event that someone got to know the particular case of Artaud and the other Artauds and knew their addresses and took the time to visit them from house to house, the eleven would say the same words to explain the reason for their actions.
