So if my calculations are correct I received a nominal value of $550 worth of tax deductible Hive and Leo gift-tokens from my peers in the last 30 days.

That's about $100 up from the previous month, and >$500 is a pretty substantial sum for just reading and writing and generally enjoying myself.

It's such a significant increase compared to having bumbled along at the $300/ month mark for so long that it makes me feel as if we're about to go Kaboooom, right back up to 6 figure account valuations all around and $150 for cake-pic posts.

Or maybe not, a more plausible explanation is that this is all due to the hard work of the LEO team and the corresponding sustained rise in the price of the LEO token over the last month!

But having said that, my Hive earnings aren't too shabby either, so maybe we are starting to ride the ripple of a wider crypto wave up to the moon?

Anyway, curbing my enthusiasm for the future, here's my review of last month on Hive and Leo!

• Hive Power - 56 400 (53 089) rank number 291 (310) (by tomo!)
• LEO Holdings - 37 000 (28 500)
• Splinterlands cards - worth around $3500 (3200) using market prices, and 350 000 DEC worth around $280

Hive Rewards and Progress

@ReviseSociology received the following rewards:

• 118 HBD in author rewards
• 976 HP in author rewards
• 431 curation HP
• $282 worth of Hive related tokens

And @revise.leo received the following:

• 7.95 HBD in author rewards
• 66 HP in author rewards
• 0.5 HP in curation rewards
• $15 worth of Hive related tokens

= $297 worth of HIVE tokens in November, hell let's round that UP to $300!

That's off the back of just over 40 posts, and I'm quite happy with my engagement levels!

I've been using @revise.leo to post a bit more when I don't feel it's appropriate to use the main account, I've been quite enjoying that!

LEO holdings and LEO rewards

@revisesociology received the following in rewards

• 400 LEO in author rewards

• $90 worth of LEO rewards

@Revise.leo received the following rewards:

• 430 LEO in curation rewards
• $162 worth of LEO related tokens

So that is around 1100 LEO earned in total, not too shabby, and around $250 - so I cannot claim to be one of the authors who earns more in LEO than they do in Hive, but then again I do like to write about a broad spectrum of topics, not just finance!

Big news for me earlier this month was getting my 9K LEO back from @khaleeelkazi from the WLEO 1.0 Hack - nice to be able to put my 'lost' ETH back to work again. I staked 5K of that straight back into the pool.

Also a word on comments - I think that somewhere between 10-15% of my LEO author rewards are coming from comments - mostly made on my @revise.leo account - I'm typically floating around 4th on that comments league table.

Splinterlands progress and cards

Well in the last post I wrote about buying shed loads of DEC for LAND, but the team gave us averagely rich people the finger so I didn't buy a tract - just a few plots.

I did OK on the DEC - I've sold about half of it for ETH at almost a dollar, so I've at least doubled my money and what I've got left now is practically free.

• my cards are currently valued at $3500
• My remaining 'free' 350K DEC is valued at $280
• I've also got I think 14 plots of land.

I'm glad I came to my senses about LAND, I think it's going to prove to be a mediocre investment for people - everyone's thinking they're going to make an absolute killing - in reality all of that money is now tied up in the game while crypto is mooning!

Chances are my ETH will now double in value, then when land goes live there will be loads of people with hundreds of plots desperate to offload them to get in on the continued ETH boom, that'll suppress the market value of land somewhere around the sale price, maybe lower.

Other Tribes and tokens

I've been using the spt tag for my Splinterlands posts and quite enjoying curating there too.

I set up a @revise.stem account to curate stem stuff. Even used the tag for one post.

I bought some WEED! I liked the look of their shop.

Oh and next month I will most certainly be buying 1000 LBI tokens for sure - missed the boat a bit with the SPI tokens so I wanna go a bit larger with this!

Games on Hive

I've had fun playing the @exodegame challenge late this month - nice to see how it's is developing - I also spent $20 or so on a Kilbot and I bought a Stranded Trader too - I think the former is going to prove to be a great investment!

@cryptobrewaster I'm still logging on to every day but I need to get some energy up before trying to get my head around the new developments in the game!

Final Thoughts

I've spent a long long time dicking about on Hive this November, far longer than I've really wanted too, but it's been a good month, and maybe, just maybe, we're about to MOON!
