Alright Ladies and gentlemen. I wanted to write a year end recap where I list all the things I do to still earn Crypto. I have tried more things than I can count this year as passive or active ways to earn crypto. I don't do a lot of the ones I tried for various reasons. Without further ado let's dive in.
Everything listed below is my personal opinion on my personal experiences with each item.
1) Brave Browser
I think this one goes without saying but there are times where I forget to check out how much I earned and then get pleasantly surprised. I have Brave installed on my main cell phone, tablet, main desktop, work laptop, 2nd desktop, personal laptop. Obviously I don't use all of those multiple times a day but its installed so when I need it it's there. I have made quite a nice little nest egg with BAT by just clicking on some ads.

I was told that you don't need to click on the ad itself to earn the BAT. But to me personally it can't hurt and it helps support the browser partners so why not. Plus the earning for New Tab ads which I love. If for nothing else it changes the picture and that is nice.

2) Tip Nano
This is an app that is a faucet. Most app Faucets are complete garbage. This one is not and actual pays out without excessive ads. Each day you open the app you get 250 uNano automatically. Then every hour and 40 minutes you can claim from the faucet. I get about 600 unano with each claim. Then with every claim the amount you earn goes up by 0.1%. It will reset back after you withdraw your nano. So it makes more sense to withdraw fewer times as you earn more with each claim that ways.
This is a faucet. You are not going to get rich by using this app. BUT you can make a few bucks easily even without using the referral program. You can perform surveys to earn more nano. I look at it as an investment hoping that the price of Nano will increase over time and the nano I earn now will be worth more later.

3) CoinPot sort of
CoinPot fell out of grace with me when the multiplier stopped working like it used to. Before this was a freakin money maker every day. There are countless articles about how to utilize multiple tabs to earn rewards in the multiplier. The only way I see CoinPot now is to earn from the associated faucets and transfer them to CoinPot Tokens so that each day I earn interest on my CoinPot Tokens.
I do NOT do this every day by any means but I do it more often than not. I took a break from it when Google's reCapcha was being stupid and not worth my time but it seems to have gotten somewhat better.
4) Wombat Wallet
So this is a little different than the rest. Inside the Wombat Wallet they have "Womplay". You play some games and earn 'WOMBUCKS'. Once you turn in your wombucks you earn a share of the EOS based on how much wombucks you earned in the timeframe.
The pool of EOS resets every week. So you can earn steady amounts of EOS just for playing random games within the Wombat Wallet. You can quick play some games like solitaire or there are challenges to install a certain game and reach a specific level to earn a predetermined amount of wombucks.

5) Proof of Stake
To me this is the most beneficial way to earn Crypto. Get yourself some Tezos or other crypto that you can stake and earn returns every 3 or so days. I won't go into how to do it here or which ones I do but I would start with Tezos if you are new to it.
6) Publish0x
I mean... obviously right? I can't not include this when I am writing the article on this site. I don't post as much as I used to but I still comment/tip and earn a small amount of crypto.
99) Everything I tried and don't like
- Upland
This is not time/cost effective unless you got in early. You can either buy a few properties with starter money you are given and hope and pray that down the line someone will buy your overpriced properties but not likely. If you are putting money into the game to earn travelling fees and such then I could see this being worth it but to me that is to big of a gamble and not worth it.
- Prospectors
This is not time/cost effective unless you got in early. The cost of entry, so to speak, is way to high. If you are not going to put money into it to start, it takes way to long to earn any decent return on investment. It was great back in the day but I cashed out a while ago as it wasn't worth the time.
- Coin app
This is a app where you 'mine' little squares of real world land. You earn some Coin for mining and for various other tasks in the game. But again you need to play a LOT and earn a LOT of Coin to even be able to do anything. There are ways for you to pay money up front to earn at a faster rate but again you don't really get a good return on investment.
- Mining
I used to mine a few tokens but again guys I am going to repeat myself. It's not worth it anymore. The ONLY way I see this as viable to a normal every day user if there is a new token that came out and is worth pennies and you mine it in the beginning. And then it will only be worth it if the price of that new token rises down the road. It's a gamble but a gamble I would be willing to take for new tokens.
For example, I used to 'mine' TFUEL for Theta Network. I earned thousands of TFUEL in the beginning and it was worthless. Then the price of TFUEL rose and my thousands of TFUEL became worth something of value. And now you barely earn anything while running of PGN which makes it not worth it.
- Electroneum
This was an app where you each Electroneum every day for free for not doing anything but opening the app. You can earn it that way anymore and for someone in a 1st world country makes it not worth it.
- Netbox Global
This is a browser that I was very hopeful in the beginning. For various reasons I don't mess with it anymore. I still have NBX in the wallet earning staking rewards but I don't use the browser anymore and I guess at some point I will go back to the wallet and see about cashing it out but not worth the time anymore.
- Splinterlands
I know a lot of people love this game and at it's premise it is a really fun card game to play. But to be frank guys... I just suck at it and that is why I stopped playing. There isn't much more to say.
- CryptoTab
Stay away from this. Look, I loved this browser at one point. It was a miner built into the browser so it was easy for new people to earn/mine bitcoin. The problem I have come to realize with it is that is infiltrates your computer where it is a nightmare to get rid of. If you never want to get rid of it then by all means set it up and get some referrals going and you can earn a decent amount. It is only worth it if you have referrals though.
I am sure I missed some others but that is what I could think of. I am always looking for more ways to earn crypto so if you have any suggestions please let me know!
