What I earn in a day mining Raptoreum!!! πŸ±β€πŸ‰πŸ–πŸ₯©

I wanted to post a follow up article on how much I actually make mining Raptoreum.

On my main desktop (seen below) I have the following specs:

Windows 11 Pro

AMD Ryzen 7 3700X

Nvidia RTX 3060 TI

Nvidia GTX 1050 TI

32GB of RAM (4x8GB)

For the last 2 days I have been running my Raptoreum miner 24/7 to get a good idea as to what my profits would be like. I did make 1 change though that needs to be discussed. I throttled down the mining software to only use 12 out of 16 "threads" or processors if you will. So I am not mining at 100% capacity. I never do, even with my GPU's. Sure I could make more in the short term but the entire reason I built this computer was to do daily internet things and play games with mining being secondary. So I want to keep my components in tip top shape.

Here is my CPU at this very moment I am writing this:

I have who knows how many applications open right now. But I do have my RVN mining software running, my ETH mining software running, RTM mining software running, Raptoreum wallet running and a bunch of others. So again I could be getting a better hash rate if I ONLY had RTM mining running but that is not what I am here for.

On to the meat and potatoes of the article.

Yesterday I was paid out 24.31 RTM which is worth $1.40.

The day before I was paid out 30.72 RTM which is worth $1.78.

On average that is 27.51 RTM worth $1.59 per day

My average hashrate for the last 24 hours is 1.25 KH/s and currently running at 2.33 KH/s.

There has been a lot of craze recently around Raptoreum and the prices have been trending up. Which is exciting because this blockchain could actually pan out to be a useful blockchain that sticks around. I always try to weigh if my time investment is worth it and a lot of that has to do with if I think this cryptocurrency will be around in 5+ years. Based on what Raptoreum plans to do I think this is a safer bet then a lot of other crap coins out there. But again Do Your Own Research as I am just an IT guy who mines a little for fun! 😊

If you want to know how to mine for Raptoreum then you can follow my guide here

EDIT #1

I figured I should include my config file for anyone looking to mine Raptoreum.

"url": "stratum+tcps://us.flockpool.com:5555",
"url-backup": "stratum+tcps://us-west.flockpool.com:5555",
"user": "MYWALLETADDRESS.Ryzen",
"pass": "x",
"algo": "gr",
"threads": "12"
}

Β

And that is it. If you have multiple miners then after your wallet address add a ".name" to name it something different then the rest.

The "threads":"12" line is to reduce the cores used in mining. If you want to mine at 100% then just delete this line and make sure to delete the comma then after the algo line.
