Let me walk through this journey with you. It starts with DOGE. I watched the price of DOGE skyrocket over the last year. At first it was a nothing coin and then you could actually use it as a payment crypto and the price now is $0.23. Once year ago it was worth $0.00351011.

Then more recently I watched this SHIB crap happen as well. 1 year ago it was worth $0.000000000070. And today it is worth $0.00004510. Who knows it might still go up from here but it got me thinking. I wonder if I can find the next "meme coin" before it blows up. If I could I would invest a few bucks on it and see where it goes. 

So I started to go through pages and pages on coingecko crypto's. I was specifically looking for a crypto that was worth less then a penny per coin (preferably a lot less then a penny). I also wanted to find a token that had a decent logo that looked like it could be on new articles one day (completely subjective, I know). After that I wanted to find a cryptocurrency that had a semi decent team behind it. I didn't want a coin that Joe Smith made for BS reasons and it would die out in a few months. I also wanted to find a coin that could appeal to the masses and not directly put certain people off by having like a name like "MILF". It was then that I stumbled on the CLU token. (It's not a "memecoin" but it works for my purposes).

As you can see from the CoinGecko listing it checks 3 boxes right away.

Value is $0.000000033798 per coin.

Logo is a pinkish diamond shape. It is simple yet classy. 

Name is nothing suspicious or aggressive. Bonus because it has Coin in the name.

Once I had this token picked out it was time to do some digging into the coin and see if it checked the last box: halfway decent team behind it.

You need to hold some BNB in your wallet (I highly suggest MetaMask because I had issues with Trust Wallet). Once you have BNB in your wallet you go to https://swap.clucoin.com/ and connect MetaMask and just decide how much CLU you want and swap your BNB for CLU.

And now you are the proud owner of some CLU! But why do you want CLU? Well let me tell you why as there are a few reasons as to why I wanted to buy some CLU.

1) Everytime a transaction is processed on their blockchain part of the fee is distributed back to ALL CLU holders. You can even hold roles in their Discord server to gain even more perks then just the  "dividend reflections".

2) They are truly taking the stance of being a community to another level. There are so many different ways the CLUmmunity helps others. There are charitable organizations you can donate to to help. They regularly hold scholarships to help people.

2a) They founded their own 501(c) Charitable organization call "CLUnited" which CLU holder can vote on how the charitable organization helps others and in what ways.

3) It feels like a grassroots blockchain. You can become a ambassador to the CLU token and help organize events, and get the word out of CLU.

4) They have there own wallet/vault for their NFT's. It is on the Binance blockchain so it will be able to hold other NFT's as well like the Axie Infinity ones as well.

5) They have a all encompassing Governance system that just works and is easy to utilize.

If I am being honest the reason I love this blockchain at the moment is because of the passive rewards you earn. They always say you need to make your money work for you. And we all are striving to get to the point where we can live off of our passive income. This is just one more blockchain to enable us to do that.

I tracked my CLU balance over a 5 day period to see how much CLU I was making from just simply holding the CLU in my MetaMask wallet.

Day 1: + 4,418.59 CLU 

Day 2: + 2,225.722 CLU

Day 3: + 2,506.806 CLU

Day 4: +23,834.858 CLU

That is a average of 8,246.494 CLU I earn every day for doing absolutely nothing. You don't have to redeem the daily earnings, they just automatically show up in my MetaMask wallet. (One thing to note though is that MetaMask doesn't show it as a transaction, so you will need to manually write down your total CLU one day and then check the next day to notice a difference).

Also just to clarify that right now with the price of CLU that 8,246.494 CLU is worth $0.00026. So I am making WAY less then a penny a day in passive income. However like everything with blockchain is the price of CLU rises all the earnings I ever got will skyrocket as well.

This is just my first article on CLU. I am super excited for where this blockchain goes to in the future and it's one I am paying close attention to now. Will the price of 1 CLU moon? Who knows. But even if it doesn't I think this is a super cool blockchain that is doing some good in the world and I can be apart of it.
