Crypto Earning Guide for new blockchainers

Crypto Earning Guide for new blockchainers

By TrocProcLock | Earning that Crypto | 20 Dec 2022

I was asked recently by a friend as to how much someone could earn doing faucets, drips, games, etc on various blockchains. They had a family member who wanted to get into making some crypto passively and while they are already on their computer. So since I started to nerd out I figured I would write it all out in a easy to read format and share it will all of you as well in case you were interested as well.

I want to get the caveats out of the way first:

1) I am assuming you the reader are semi familiar with the various blockchains and how they work. (PoS vs PoW, various other differences)

2) I will not walk through opening accounts and wallets up.

3) This is all based on my personal experience and your experience may vary.

4) I will be posting referral links in this article where applicable but feel free to just manually type in the address without the referral part in the URL.

5) I have not tracked how much I earn from each site per month but I will do my best to give an estimate. Some sites pay out the more you use them or the more you play them so the earning will be a little skewed but I will try to make that as clear as possible in each line item.

Faucets:

Bitcoinker: This is a fairly simple Bitcoin Faucet. You can claim every 5 minutes and up to 120 times a day. They payout once you amassed the 20,000 Satoshi threshold. I usually make 5 to 6 satoshi per claim. With that in mind let's say you claim the faucet 30 times in a day. That would be 150 Satoshi per day or 4,500 per month. That would take you 4.4 months to hit the payout threshold. And right now 20,000 satoshi's is worth $33.64 or $138 based on the ATH of BTC. You can earn a lot more if you get referrals which would speed up this process a lot.

SolFaucet: This is a Solana Faucet that pays 0.00001 SOL to your wallet directly once per day. There are more ways to earn more SOL via games on this site or staking your SOL but I purely just use the faucet. At today's rate that is $0.000124 per day.

PipeFlare: PipeFlare has a few free faucets. There is a ZEC faucet that pays directly to your wallet each day. There is a MATIC faucet that you can withdraw once you hit the 0.25 MATIC threshold and there is a 1FLR faucet that you can claim and then restake those to earn more. This site also has games and NFT's to purchase to increase your earnings. This is probably a penny a day site but again this adds up the more you use it.

CAIT: Here we have a WAX based Faucet site where you can claim CAIT, Gnokens, Aether, PUFT, FATE and JEWELS. They range from once a day to once per hour. These are tiny faucets (as usually) but there are 5 in one place.

NEFTY: Here you can claim your NEFTY, TACO and WAX rewards. You earn more by staking WAX and NEFTY as well. Earnings depends purely on how much you put into it.

Cointiply: This site has it all and I have been playing it for a while. There is an hourly "faucet" you spin a wheel to earn coins. You can also complete surveys or tasks or games to earn coins. Every 10,000 coins is worth $1. That never changes and so it makes sense to withdraw your coins when the price of BTC is super low so that when when BTC rises so does your profit. However if you have 35,000 coins ($3.50) in your account you can earn interest on it every week. I have made about $100 from this site with little to no effort this year but that is also in part because of Hideout.TV and Loot.TV which I will talk about later.

Taco Mobile App: There is official TACO app (at least on Android) where they have TACO faucet built into it. I get around 0.0001 TACO with each claim and you can claim every hour.

Taco Universe Mobile App: This is another official TACO app where you can 'play' the bridgade game but basically it is just a SHING faucet every 3 hours. I earn about 500 SHING with every claim but that is because I have okay equipment to boost the stats. Starting out you might earn 50 to 120 SHING per claim if I had to guess.

TrustWin: This one is newer to me but I am giving it a go none the less. There is an ingame faucet here every 6 hours meaning you claim it and it adds to your in game wallet. You can play a few casino gambling games to earn more if you want as well.

Gaming Sites:

Dungeon Master: This game is WAX and EOS based and is quite simple. You stake certain NFT's to it and they give you mining power. You then perform Dungeon runs (which are automatic) that last 5 mins, 1 hour, 6 hours or 24 hours. Rinse and Repeat. You get a chest every night with point or NFT's depending on how much you performed that day. At the end of each season your points are converted to EOS or WAX and paid out to you. I am not a high roller player but I can make 50 WAX a season at this point purely from the end of season rewards and another 200-400 WAX selling the packs and NFT's I earn from performing runs. That would be what roughly $10 a season and seasons run for little over a month.

Alien Worlds: I love a love hate relationship with Alien Worlds. The premise is kind of the same with Dungeon Master. You perform "runs" or "mines" that can last a few minutes or hours and you earn TLM token for it. The better the gear you have the more you earn. There is also a place where you can earn NFT's for playing it. For example if you mine on Magor 22:1 and have a mining pass you can earn Byron NFT's. The Cryptomonkey lads also have lands where if you mine there you can earn their NFT's.

RollerCoin: This site is a little different and I will do my best to explain it. The entire ecosystem/game is a replica of real world mining for cryptocurrency. However this is purely a browser based game that requires no real world mining on your part. You play mini games and it gives you ingame mining power. You can use that mining power to mine for one of 10 currencies (RLT, RST, BTC, ETH, BNB, MATIC, LTC, DOGE, SOL, TRX). There are seasons in this game as well where you can earn season rewards (some are even free). The are ingame miners as well that you can purchase/earn that boost your ingame mining power.
There are minimum thresholds for withdrawing each in game currency to your real world wallet. But the games currency RLT is the bread and butter of the game where you can use it to purchase miners. So if you start your focus on mining 100% for RLT you won't earn anything to withdraw but you will boost your earnings for down the road. That is the game within a game. I know a few people who play this 100% purely free to play and they can make $10 a month but they also have been playing for a long time and have amassed a lot of miners and mining power.

Rising Star: This game is a NFT based HIVE blockchain game. You are starting your own band and need to run missions to earn fans and stats and "starbits" which is a Hive blockchain token. You can purchase more powerful NFT's with those Starbits you get from completing missions. I am level 97 and have been playing oh I don't know a year and I earn about 2,000 starbits a day (I play very minimal where I just do 1 mission or maybe 2 a day). At the going rate today 2,000 starbits is worth $0.023. That is roughly $0.69 per month. I could easily see double that if I gave even a little more effort. This game definitely starts out slow but is a click and forget type game.

Trains of the Century: You will need to purchase a few cheap NFT's to start this game. However they should cost you under 10 WAX to get started. You will need to purchase a train, conductor, railcar of some type and then a commodity that is compatible with that railcar. You can definitely get more rail cars and commodities but you just need 1 to start out. The premise of this game is you run your train from station to station and you earn Tocium (WAX based token). Each station has different rates for each commodity type. And those rates change hourly if not sooner so it's ever changing landscape.

I have 2 trains and they are kind of leveled up at this point. I run probably 6 missions a day (3 per train) and that earns me about (rough guess) 5,000 Tocium on a good day where I plan out my routes. That is roughly $0.06 at todays going rate. Again this will go up dramatically if you save your Tocium and upgrade your trains but that is just where I am at right now. You can also run your train on the Cryptomonkey Lands and you have a chance to earn Cryptomonkey NFT's.

Castles the NFT Game: There are multiple layers to this game. However for the sake of this guide I am only talking about the Free to Play section. You can login with your WAX account and claim a free pack every 8 hours (it's not 100% free as it costs 0.6 WAX to claim) which will have 5 items in it. That you can either sell or use to boost your stats.

NFT Panda: This is a game where you need to buy a panda NFT to play (there are weapons and amulets and such that boost your earnings but are NOT needed). You send your Panda's on missions and they earn WAX based token called BAM. I have 2 Panda's with weapons and jewelry and make about 3 BAM a day using the 8 hour missions but spend about 1 BAM a day on repairing those weapons and jewelry so I make 2 BAM a day.  That is about 0.06 WAX per day

Splinterlands: In order to really get the most out of Splinterlands you need to purchase the $10 Spellbook. It is a NFT card game where you can earn a few different HIVE based tokens (DEC and SPS mainly). These guys have been around a while and are constantly upgrading and expanding the game. I know a few guys here on Publish0x that make a crap ton off of playing. If you are good at strategy card games then this is right up your alley. There are daily tasks and seasons for you to earn DEC or NFT's. You can buy/sell/trade/rent your NFT cards to earn even more. I make zero playing right now because I stopped playing for a bit but I could see a dedicated person making dollars each week if not more if played right.

It will take a little while to build up some cards you get for free to level up into higher levels/reward levels but it is totally worth it.

French Money Gang: This is a Discord based game. You need to buy a dog NFT start and link your WAX wallet but then you can perform walks with your dog and have a chance to find NFT's on your walk. You can purchase NFT's that give you more energy so you can perform more walks without having to wait for your energy to recharge but you can also find those NFT's in game and then also sell back the NFT's you find. This one is hard to state how much you could make a day or even a week because it depends on your luck, time investment and initial investment. I would say a couple WAX each week though if I had to guess for a fairly new player who plays regularly.

Wombat Mobile App: This is the EOS WOMBAT team. The link is for the Android app. You can play games they have within their app to earn Wombucks which are basically points. You put those points into the pool and then you earn your portion of points in EOS at the end of each "season". I would say maybe 1 EOS every 2 weeks if you played A LOT but expect less then that.

Bitcoin Miner Mobile App: This is another mining simulation game. You can earn satoshi's for playing the game. I have a whole review of this game so I won't get to much into it but you can withdraw up to 500 satoshi each day.

Writing Sites:

Publish0x: Do we need a link for this one? I think not. You can pennies by just reading and tipping each day and if you write posts you can earn even more. For example I have 1,500 followers and I am willing to bet that more then half are no longer active accounts and here is what I made on my last posts so far.

8ce26c883dcfe00c3aebb91e38b268b26515c0aa57017776b83033a669b7b615.png

I have made $2.50 so far in December from my posts and tips to give you a better understanding. I know there are people who make tens of dollars a month from writing and that is because they write way more then me and have way more followers.

Noise.App: This is like a twitter clone of sorts. You can post here and earn BCH for posting. People can tip you or even maybe get BCH tips from the site themselves. Again the more you post and the more followers you have the better rewards you could earn.

Semi Passive earners:

CashRain: This is a odd site to describe. It's a place where people setup communities and basically pay their members to retweet their tweets or even just join their communities. I would recommend setting up an account and mass joining communities to get drips of BCH. If you need a referral link to setup a account let me know.

Loot.TV: This site plays videos constantly and earns you Points. You can then redeem these points at various sites and I redeem them into Cointiply every few days. I don't track this very well but if I had to guess I would say maybe $0.50 a week, but keep in mind if you have over 35,000 coins in Cointiply you earn interest on them as well.

JungleTV: This is a Banano based version of Loot.tv. You watch videos constantly and you earn BAN and once you get over 10 BAN it autopays out to your account. You will have to perform captcha's every once in a while to prove you are still watching.

TACO: In the Taco Universe App discussed earlier you can stake TACO/SHING to the pool and earn ONI you will need a 'collector' NFT to be able to claim them but you earn it everyday. If you have a Venue and/or Extractor you can also collect their SHING earnings whenever you want. They continuously earn SHING for you.

HoneyGain: This websites installs a client on your PC and runs in the background. It let's companies and users use your bandwidth encrypted to test things. Just let this run and you will earn points and you can withdraw once you have $20 in points as BTC or Paypal I believe. However you can also payout in JumpTask and earn a 10% bonus. This does take a lot of your data so I recommend using a unlimited dataplan for this.

Mining/Staking:

Swap.Taco: This one is basically staking rewards. I also wrote a post on this so I won't get into crazy details but you stake WAX and WAX based tokens and each passively on it each day. With this you will earn in proportions as to what you invest. I am very confident in the TACO ecosystem so I highly recommend giving this a thorough read through.

Unmineable: This is a site where you can mine with your GPU's, ASIC's, CPU's and get paid out in tokens that can not normally be mined. I personally mine for Tezos and then also stake my Tezos on Ledger to earn passively both ways.

Theta TFUEL: I have written numerous articles on this in the past where you setup a node and share bandwidth and earn TFUEL. Theta blockchain is going to revolutionize the blockchain world in the years to come to keep a eye out for this.

Folding@Home: Folding @ Home is a desktop client that runs and uses your extra CPU usage or GPU and folds for proteins. What it does is scientific research to try to cure cancers and the like so it's a great cause. If you get into the Banano team's team there they will pay out BAN for helping out and Folding.

*Update 1*

I forgot to add a few

1) Coin Hunt World: this is an AR based mobile game. Where you walk around to booths and answer questions to earn BTC or ETH.

2) Atlas Earth: This is another AR based game about walking around the world to earn. However this time you earn Atlas Bucks and once you have 100 you can buy a parcel of land and then that piece of land earns your rent forever. So it better to get in quick and amass some land and forget about it for months or even years :)

I think that is all that I would recommend a new person get started with to start earning from faucets, and sites. Not all the sites will work in every country and your mileage may vary. Not counting the faucets, how much you put in dictates usually how much you will get back out.

If you have any questions feel free to ask here in the comments or head over to my Discord server and post them there. I will be more then happy to answer any questions and help is any way possible that I can to help you earn free crypto: https://discord.gg/Xupgepfv
