With the end of the previous season happening a couple days ago I took the opportunity to purchase myself up 15 extra Djinn Biljka's to boost my Collection Power up to the Silver leagues!
Thankfully with the recent dips in the markets I caught them for under a dollar each, I had about 7000 CP myself from previous seasons rewards but I rent out a singular card I own which is valued at 1000CP so I just purchased up extra just in-case I rent out more cards too.
Earned a tiny bit of cash-back too from the purchase which will go towards new rentals for my advance into the Silver leagues! - Now I'm sure you're all aware but I won't be getting Silver end of season chests this time round, I need to wait for this season to end before that will kick into effect but thankfully I can still earn Silver Focus Chests while I wait out this season!
I found my first time in Silver to be quite enjoyable- for my cards that is! I notice a tonne of highly levelled up cards and summoners which also reward incredibly high RP. I cannot compete with any of that yet so right now I'm currently taking this season as a learning opportunity while I try to figure out average line-ups and see how I handle the two conditions per match.
That being said- I finished today on 40 EoS Chests and 4 Focus chests. I definitely do need to figure out all levelled up summoners/cards regular rental prices now too so I don't overpay if I am choosing to rent better cards to progress further.
It does feel quite a waste to do it this season though considering my end of season chests will remain bronze, so next season would benefit me more so- as I can imagine the rental costs are going to become quite silly for me and my "strategy" aka winging it.
The image above is what I would love to achieve. 5000+ RP per win! It's amazing- but I am really unsure how to go about it. It is going to take a tonne of playing and watching to try and figure out lineups, then researching all into cards and their costs sigh, long journey ahead!
But once I'm secured and polished up on my knowledge for Silvers I'm sure it'll be much easier to solidity myself in this league and stack the focus chests.
my current highest earned RP so far is the 2500 image you see above. I managed to earn 2500 a couple times in bronze league so that's not too impressive anymore- especially considering I'm getting my ass handed to me and dishing out 5k+ rp to my opponents every time 😂 the struggles.
Anyway, here is my daily rewards! only the four chests but the opportunity to get pack drops in them definitely makes up for any lost rewards in the long run I'm sure.
Luckier than expected with this opening, truly expected nothing but to be awarded with two rares and a common, damn I'll take it everyday of the week! Well that's all for today on my little Splinterlands journey, thanks for following along if anybody is reading. 😂
