Last night while I was drawing my inktober rodent, I was chatting with a friend who pretty much demanded that I put a top hat on it, and (of all things) spats, because "it would be so fancy!" She even had a fancy hat picked out! It was purple! I got that mouse to a point where I liked it, and I didn't want to mess around with accessories and have to start over if I screwed it up, so I felt a little like I had disappointed my friend. 

With that in mind, i approached this evening's prompt, appropriately enough "fancy," with her in mind. Also, with a beloved comic, "Mouse Guard" in mind. Also with Fred Astaire in mind. 

I sure hope publish0x doesn't rotate my picture this evening. 

I think I want to date this mouse.
