Today's prompt was "Rocket" and there was never a single moment when I didn't think I would draw something very much like this.

On the whole I am very happy with this piece. Usually I draw from single photograph references, without too much deviation. This is one of the few pieces I've drawn that introduce more imaginative elements. I had a reference photo of a rocket, but I didn't really follow it. I had a reference photo of the figure, but he was not riding a rocket. 

I could have done better on the rocket's base, and probably I will go back tomorrow and do exactly that. I think I need to do more work on the shadows cast by the model and the reins onto the rocket, as well, and probably I should add some mechanism connecting the reins to the rocket.
