A number of things were bugging me about the picture I drew of the man on a rope swing, most prominent among them that the background was Not Up To Speed. I spent a few minutes making the trees and greenery in the background look a bit more deliberate, expanded and defined the flow of water, and added some shading to the figure and his shorts. Here's the revised version:

It's still not QUITE where I want it to be, but it's getting closer. I feel like it looks a bit more deliberate. Looking at it now on the screen, I can see that my shading on his shorts isn't precisely right, so I'll probably go back in and tweak that.
