Today marks the launch of a new sub-series within the Trichocereus NFT collection WAX. The stretch applications for artificial intelligence are yet to be seen... even the practical applications are still being studied as the first generation of A.I. software is starting to make its public beta debut.
What we do know is that A.I. will without a doubt play a major role in just about every facet of our future lives (Check out this short video of an A.I. safety instruction made entirely with A.I. software... A.I. wrote the script, A.I. created the avatar, and A.I. created the talking facial motions)
Beyond just business or financial application, I believe there will be extreme shifts in art that is driven by A.I. software. For that reason, the new sub-series in the Trichocreus NFT collection is called 'ai.art'.
The idea is to use artificial intelligence to create something new out of an original piece of art while still being able to own the original, giving credit and visibility to creators while opening the door for a larger potential viewership using artificial intelligence. The owners of the NFTs in this new collection sub-series get to enjoy owning an NFT that includes original art or photography from artists, the A.I. prompt-generated art, and the resulting A.I. blend image of the original art and the A.I. created art.
So here is how we are getting started:
Cosmic KK242 is a show case of the new series.
- Original image is from a cactus grown by DrCharles, originally sourced as a cutting from the Trichocereus legend Verne. Image taken on an Android S20+
- Theme of the first sub-series in this new schema is "Cosmic"
- A.I. was prompted to create a imagine a cosmic landscape with a river in the middle
- The original photo from DrCharles' garden was blended into the A.I. generated art to create a new piece of art for everyone to enjoy.
- All three images are included with this NFT minting to display how the final image came to be.
Every NFT in this series will only be 1 WAX to essentially cover minting and RAM costs. The only time drop costs might be higher is if the original artist requests a higher listing price to support their efforts. Anything from DrCharles' original art or photography will forever be 1 WAX in this series.
The first drop is going live in a little less than one hour of originally posting this and is limited to 100 mints ever.
