KardiaChain ("KAI") is currently listed at £0.01337 (nice!) with a total market cap of £27,405,446 (the result of a circulating supply of 2,049,800,000 which is 41% of the maximum supply). The developers haul it as the first decentralised interoperable and self-optimised blockchain ecosystem which essentially means it facilitates operations between existing and upcoming blockchains and networks. The team seems to be predominantly from Vietnam with connections to Google and the Bank of Hope.
KardiaChain's consensus protocol is built off the back of two Delegated Proof-of-Stake ("DPoS") consensuses. As mentioned in my last post, DPoS are able to process transactions faster than Proof-of-Stake ("PoS") & Proof-of-Work ("PoW"), however it is said to be less secure than PoW which is still where the most money transmittance occurs. The two consensuses are the Main Consensus ("MCon") and the Group Consensus ("GCon"). MCon participants are called Main Validators (MVals), who are responsible for maintaining the ledger of KardiaChain. GCon participants are Group Validators (GVals), who validate interchain transactions and add to their respective Group ledgers.
Their current roadmap looks very promising and their recently released Mainnet 1.0 ("Mainnet Aris") will be the basis of much upcoming growth. They are currently undertaking token swaps post transfer and are looking at building a DeFi wealth management system and an esport platform in 1Q21. However, the biggest target for KAI will be the release of Mainnet 2.0 with mobile banking integration which may be the point where more people start to recognise this coin.
KardiaChain prides themselves in their dual node technology which allows for cross-chain communications between any public and/or private blockchain regardless of protocol. It allows for seamless solutions for institutional clients which has been validated and white-labeled by, CertiK, one of the largest global IT leaders.
A key selling point of KardiaChain is the impact of interoperability. As the whitepaper states, all chains in the network are able to transact with data and assets on the others. Inter-chain functionality allows Dapps to specify different actions to be executed on different chains, which offload the congestion at a particular chain at specific time or event.
The coin has an insane number of partnerships. They include cryptocurrency based partnerships such as Chainlink who will be used as the oracle solution for building decentralised applications ("dApps") on KardiaChain. The developers see this partnership as one that will be used to obtain sporting outcomes and statistics that will be required to reliably settle user-created prediction markets. They also have a partnership with Neo which is more open ended and looks to work collaboratively to optimise each others technology for easy integration of a "Neo-like" blockchain on KardiaChain's network. Other cryptocurrency based partnerships include Band Protocol, Matic & Celo. It also has a number of large Asian non-cryptocurrency partnerships including the Vietnam Football Federation where the scope of work is to digitalise and provide a systematic control framework over hundreds of football leagues participating under the supervision of the Federation. They also have their own futsal team called KardiaChain Saigon FC. It has also been partnered by LG's consulting arm which acted as a validator of Mainnet Aris. The partnership is part of a wider effort to incorporate LG's own blockchain, Monachain. It is expected that this will provide a big boost to Kardiachain this year when they look to enter the South Korean market.
It can be bought on a number of exchanges including Uniswap (KAI/WETH), Bilaxy (KAI/USDT) & KuCoin (KAI/USDT) which makes it easily accessible for people compared to a number of other coins usually growing out of Asia.
I am pretty excited by this and think that this will be a big success if they are just able to achieve their timeline without the need for any big exchange listings to stimulate it. KardiaChain have had a massive boost from their ability to gather a number of substantial partnerships which has given it a massive jump up compared to other cryptocurrencies in the same space.
I would appreciate any and all feedback while I get this going!
