In June, I shared about how I had lost my Bitcoin when a local crypto exchange called Hodlnaut went under. I spent an hour figuring out how to fill in a Proof of Debt application and submitted it.

I didn’t have any expectations in regard to the outcome. If I never received any follow-up from the liquidators, that would have been fine with me. I just didn’t want to let the opportunity pass me by.

Seems like that hour was spent fruitfully because I recently received an Abjudication Outcome Letter last week.

Feeling buoyed by the words, I opened up the digital letter. It seemed that my application was successful.

It isn’t a lot, but it isn’t chump change either. Actually I don’t dare to get my hopes up, anything can happen after all. Still, the possibility of getting $1k in the future is enough to shine rays of life into my life!
