AS THE THAW | A Taste of Diseaster | preview

A project came out almost by chance, a dear friend of mine is passionate about extreme music and decided to go on his own after having played in some bands, but they didn't fully satisfy his musical needs.

Born as a bass player, he decided to start a solo band by writing songs using a computer program. He has already published some songs on his YouTube channel, one day he contacted me and asked me to be the singer, considering the roughness of my voice which he felt was appropriate.

He also recruited a bass player not bad at all, a very technical teacher with a not indifferent background, his curriculum speaks for itself, he played in Illogicist, a band with strong influences inspired by the very famous metal band Death, even appreciated by the good soul of Chuck Schuldiner.

I have to admit that it's not exactly my favorite genre, but my passion for singing is so strong that I never back down when I get involved, so I expand my horizons and explore new fields to enhance my musical evolution.

So here we are with this first promo, with me on vocals, Berto means Berto on guitar and drums and Emilio Dattolo on bass. Everything is still in "beta", the bass base is not yet present and the vocal lines have no lyrics, I recorded them improvising, with time some changes will be made by the mind of the band, Berto, who also created the image and the temporary cover that you can see in the cover picture.

I have to work a lot on it, I'm far from the optimal shape and also until yesterday I had a low level microphone, I just got a new one, which should help further to raise the sound quality.

In this video you can taste a piece of our first song, I'm really curious to know what you think about it, let me know what you think in the comments.
