There was a time when I drank lots of coffee. Nothing good came of it. I had to give it up and switched to tea.
Recently I watched a video of some doctor explaining how to reduce the influence of my longtime enemy – blood pressure. One advice was to drink enough water. Notice not just any liquids but water.
Decided to try drinking hot water, and for taste put there a slice of lemon in it. Especially while on quarantine, we didn't stack on tea. And lemons and oranges here in California, thank God, are plenty.
And, you know, little by little I got used to living without tea. And the blood pressure somehow subsided.
