Ok, boys and girls. I am going to talk about not so pleasant things, but remember you asked for it.

It happened long ago when I was studying at UCSD. In the middle of the term, I got very sick with the flu, missed about two weeks of classes and when I came back I still felt quite weird. I tried not to blow my nose on lectures and went to the bathroom to do it.

While sitting in the library between the lectures I fell something sitting in my right nostril. It was very irritating as I tried many times to blow it off and it felt like it was about to come out, but didn't and was going back up.

That day I went home and was adamant about thinking that thing out. So I armed myself with tweezers and, once I felt the "thing" has moved down my nose, I moved the tweezers deep into my right nostril and grabbed it.

To my surprise, it started to come out. It was like a huge green work - half an inch in diameter and I kid you not 2 inches in length and with the consistency of a gummy worm. When I was pulling it, it felt like I am pulling my brains out.

Once I pulled it out, I felt dizzy, almost lost consciousness and hand to lay down. In a few moments, however, I got up and then felt better.

Not sure what it was, but it certainly was a gigantic chunk of snot. )
