Sorare has partnered with the World Cup which is about to kick off in Qatar. What is Sorare? A fantasy football where NFT and prizes in ETH are won! It will be possible to participate in the "Global Cup" with free cards (common): you just have to register and choose your players! Obviously you have a total budget of up to 100 points (8 players). You cannot exceed this budget! Each card has its own score based on the player's actual performance. The tournament is played with free cards and is open to all members. I describe how it works and what prizes you can win! Start of gameday1 is in 4 days (November 20, 2022)!

HOW DOES IT WORK?
You can join the public league or private leagues (you can create your own and join existing ones!). You can simply sign up on Sorare, choose your favorite players (cards are free!) and set up your lineup before the World Cup starts. Remember that you can change players as many times as you want until the World Cup starts.
WHAT PRIZES DO YOU WIN?
If you create a private league or join an existing one, you can participate in the draw for 100 shirts + 10 shirts weekly. In the public leagues there are rich prizes, including:
1) 6 ETH weekly to be divided by the three top managers + 5000 limited cards (which can be sold in the secondary market) + common cards
2) 17 ETH for the 10 top managers (scores are added up every day), autographed shirts and vip tickets
National Series Cards are collectible cards that can only be won in the active Global Cup during the World Cup. They are cards that can be sold in the secondary market! Weekly Rewards:

5 NFT (Polygon) will be given to the 5 managers who get the highest score in my private league! So you must have Metamask address! If you join the private league, let me know your Sorare nick and Metamask address in the comments. You can also do it later (if you finish in the top 5) but I suggest you do it now! Depending on how many people join the league I might add more NFT (Tezos, Wax) as well. In any case, at the end of the Global Cup, I will make an article with the distribution of prizes (address you can add later).
TEAM AND SCORES
You have to choose:
-2 goalkeepers
-2 defenders
-2 midfielders
-2 forwards
Starting team for the GW is made up of: 1 goalkeeper, 1 defender, 1 midfielder, 1 forward and 1 extra (you can put any role). You must also choose the captain who gets 20% more points.
Your overall GW score will be the sum of all your players. Each player can take from 0 to 100 points. Scoring example:
#X Player: 35 points (if in the starting XI) + decisive score (goal and assist; there are also malus points such as yellow/red card/missed penalty) + AAS (completed or missed passes, interceptions, tackles).
#Y Player: If a player does not start, he gets 25 points + bonus / malus (those we have seen previously).
You remember that Sorare is constantly evolving. The Global Cup is completely free, after the World Cup there are general tournaments (Spanish League, Serie A, some English Premier League players, French, American, Japanese Championships, European Cups, etc) where it is possible to win prizes in ETH, limited, rare, super rare and unique cards! For a few months now, MLB baseball and NBA basketball have also been open.
