Today I wanted to talk about the different type of 【W】【A】【L】【L】【E】【T】that you can use to store your cryptocurrencies.
I will also try to expose positive and negative aspects.

We have different types of wallets:

- Desktop wallet
- Mobile wallet (Coinomi, Mycelium, Copay, Eidoo; for altcoin: Exodus or Atomic)
- Web wallet (any Exchange)
- Hardware wallet
- Paper wallet

Dₑₛₖₜₒₚ wₐₗₗₑₜ: the best known is Bitcoin Core which is a full node wallet (you become a node of the Bitcoin network and the whole blockchain will be downloaded to your computer).
We can also mention Bitcoin Knots or Armory.
A light wallet is Electrum (identical variants also exist for Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin SV).
If instead we are interested in a multi-crypto wallet we can rely on Exodus (which also presents an exchange, however, with very high commissions) and above all Atomic (which supports hundreds of crypto).
For Ethereum: MyCrypto (desktop), MyEtherWallet or MetaMask.

𝙃𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙩: Ledger.
But what do these hardware contain? Simply the seed of 24 words. Private keys are generated from these using algorithms.
What is the advantage of using this wallet? The seed is generated offline therefore 100% secure.
What happens if Ledger breaks? Nothing, just having the seed of the 24 words. Your Bitcoins are associated with those 24 words and do not reside "physically" in the hardware. For buy (Hardware Bitcoin): Ledger Nano X (Amazon)

I would also like to report the functioning of the ραρєя ωαℓℓєт. Yes it can use blockchain.info and the bitaddress.org site to create a valid address and its public and private key pair.
A paper wallet is a piece of paper on which addresses and private keys are printed (the QR Code is present). Since an address can also be used only to store Bitcoins, no type of software is required for reception. Also to check the balance it is necessary to know the only address and then enter it on blockchain.info. Obviously, software must be used to carry out transactions by also entering the private key.
By opening Bitaddress just move the mouse randomly in the box.
Once the random generation of the alphanumeric code is finished, the wallet will be generated.
Now that the key pair has been generated, you can print them on a sheet and keep them in a safe place.

To check the balance or the status of your address, all you have to do is enter the address on Blockchain.info and you will see the details of the transactions.
If you want to spend the received Bitcoins you have to rely on a software that allows you to create transactions. There are several p2p software that you can install on your PC and that allow you to do it, but one of the easiest ways is to create an account on blockchain.info
What do we have to do? Import our paper wallet using the video camera with which to frame the secret key.
At this point we are able to see the funds received and make transactions.
Everything is generated online (and not offline) so they are less secure than the wallet hardware but more secure than desktop, mobile and exchange hardware (governed by third parties or otherwise subject to hacker attacks). Obviously by losing the card or if it is damaged nobody will be able to recover your crypto.
