If you have been wondering why I seem to write exclusively about Bitcoin these days, it’s because I discovered Stacker News.
I reviewed it two weeks ago. I had used up my two free sats and didn’t receive any traction for my postings, so I mentioned that I would give it up. I even received some flak for posting non-BTC stuff.
Some time after that, I realised that I had one free comment. (Each post costs you one sat.) I used it to reply to a response in jest. I wrote “You are right. I will repent.” That single move netted me 10 sats, which was enough to help me get my second wind.
Knowing what I did now, I posted stuff on Bitcoin. To illustrate, I compiled some Bitcoin news and posted it on Stacker News on 3 January, which is incidentally Bitcoin’s birthday for those of you not in the know. This article netted me 94 sats.
This may not be a lot, but posting and commenting regularly gives me another chance to stack sats. You see, at 5pm in my time zone, I will see a deposit of sats in my Stacker News account.

On this particular day, I received 253 sats. The catch is that you have to submit a post or comment that makes it to the top 21% in terms of tips. So you mayn’t think that it’s worth your time and energy to hustle as such. But my current goal is to try out every Lightning Network wallet that is available out there, so I see the sats accumulated there as my “capital”. Not to mention that my knowledge of Bitcoin has expanded exponentially, as can be seen by the avalanche of my BTC articles.
