Today’s post was brought to you, courtesy of HattyHats because I used his referral link to try out Stacker News.

Stacker News is somewhat similar to Reddit, except that you pay one sat to either post a link or start a discussion. If the regulars there like your content, they will tip you with sats. This was why I didn’t mind trying out this website. I’m using sMiles and Carrot, so I’m always on the lookout for other apps that allow me to accumulate my sats on the BTC Lightning Network. Stacker News allows users to withdraw their sats to a BTC Lightning Wallet, so why not try it, right? 

I gained two sats by using HattyHats’ referral link, which was enough to get me started.

This was when I realised one thing. The users there seemed to favour BTC largely, to the exclusion of other coins. So it would be ideal for you to strictly stick to posting BTC-related news. I posted a link to my Publish0x article about how to transfer $SWEAT from the Sweatcoin app to Kucoin. The link received the following barbs, haha.

To be honest, I don’t think I will try Stacker News any more. Not when I found a Lightning Network faucet: https://lightningnetworkstores.com/faucet. This faucet connects directly to my Muun wallet and yields me anything from 2 to 24 sats, depending on how infrequently I mine for BTC dust. Guess I will focus my efforts there instead, haha 😛
