The Pi Network has reached one million users as of today in just six months time! Amazing. But the reason is simple. It's because it's geared toward regular people. And as I've said before, people still underestimate the power of freely distributed crypto to non-crypto enthusiasts, as so few people have any interest in learning how to use an exchange to essentially "buy money", especially when it's money they don't understand. And no one is yet being paid in crypto, so how else is your average Joe going to get it or get interested in it?
I've written about how simple and free crypto distribution is not a small thing when it comes to adoption in my opinion. You can find that article here where I go into a bit more detail about Pi, which is a fork of the Stellar Network.
In May, Pi had a mere one thousand users. The growth rate is staggering! It has grown by over half a million users just in the past two weeks! At this rate it could hit 10 million users in the next few months! Just stop and think about that for a second. When it comes to usership, it basically has left every other crypto project in the dust, all with virtually no marketing, simply through the power of word of mouth. Many have chosen to bypass it thinking it's a scam because of the "free crypto" aspect. Understandable in this industry. But I'd encourage anyone to delve a bit further into it before writing it off. If you're not yet on Pi network, it takes just a couple minutes to sign up. The app can be closed most of the time to save battery power...all you need to do is open it once a day to help secure the network. You can find it here: https://minepi.com/CryptoScrimper . You need an invite code so if it asks, use CryptoScrimper. And Happy Mining!
