I always enjoy variety and different altcoins, because they have the potential to go 1000x while bitcoin has the potential to simply increase my savings. That is why I liked that hydro sponsored the tips here in addition to BNTY tokens.

I have been joining airdrops and bounties since 2017, and I have collected hundreds of tokens from these. I made some real good money from some of them, while most of them turned to garbage. In this article, I will try to outline my hard earned experience in the strategy that takes you into ETH or BTC moon through altcoins.

You see, I used to invest my hard earned cash into altcoins, ethereum, and bitcoin, and after I saw the airdrops, I did not feel the need to do so.

Without further ado, here are the four steps:

• 1. Apply to all the airdrops you can; you will see my reasoning in the last step. But by applying to all, you diversify your options; you never know which ones are the real gems. To be able to apply to a lot of airdrops, you need a second, perhaps a third telegram account because after a while telegram stops accepting joining new groups. Use text now app, or get a Skype phone number or something, because the online free ones do not work. I will be honest here; I have only one telegram account because I am systematically cleaning my groups. One way to do it is to delete the group once your token arrives.
• 2. Be sure to keep an eye on the airdrops you joined. I have found google sheets to be handy. It is online, and you can simply bookmark the spreadsheet you keep your records on. If you make a column called USDX, you can multiply the number of tokens by the price of the major coin. For example, if a token price is said to be 0.00005 ETH, then you can write the amount of tokens you received, and have google sheets multiply it by this: =ROUND(GOOGLEFINANCE("CURRENCY:ETHUSD"), 3)  which will give you the USD amount of the tokens by multiplying with the ETH price. I use =VALUE(REGEXEXTRACT(IMPORTDATA("https://min-api.cryptocompare.com/data/price?fsym=BTC&tsyms=USD"), "{.+:(.+)}"))   for Bitcoin prices because google finance tend to lag sometimes. Do you want LTC? There you go: =ROUND(CRYPTOFINANCE("LTCUSD"), 0).  You can also use the coinstats app on your phone to see which tokens are worth your time now or use https://deltabalances.github.io/ to see which tokens are making money for you.
• 3. Whether you are using a spreadsheet, coinstats, deltabalances, or some other program, you will eventually see some tokens creeping up your list. These are the valuable tokens that make money. When I got my eBTC, at some point, it was worth 4 ETH. My suggestion is to sell any airdropped tokens as they make money. Back when ETH was worth its salt and the airdrops were fun, many airdrops were making about 30 USD, and people were immediately selling them. These days, they are more like 2-3 USD. So, if you sell them immediately, you are not making a whole a lot of money.
• 4. If you see your airdropped tokens making good money, I say sell them. Most of the tokens make ATH (all-time high) and then drop, and disappear. In the previous bullet point, I said to wait because you don't want to sell them for 2 bucks. But if they are making good money now, go ahead and convert them to ETH or if you can, BTC. You want to wait when you get your tokens first, because 1 in 20 will be making headlines, or at least some lights :) You can then sell your gems, and wait for the bull season with your ETH, EOS, or BTC.
