[ENGLISH VERSION]
Who will be responsible for marketing Splinterlands? Andrew's Story.

Source: Splinterlands Town Hall
In this last town hall, Andrew, CEO of the media company Not Corrupt Media, was introduced to the players. He began by telling us a little about his story, which began a long time ago in the gaming and media market, doing marketing since 2007. Over time, he started a company that took care of the growth of gaming content creators, but soon merged with a large media company, where he became a media executive.
Among Andrew's portfolio and his former company, they created Blizzard's official eSports videos for the game Heroes of the Storm, and some work for Overwatch. They helped some YouTube channels with many subscribers, such as the NBA's own YouTube channel, and they also worked with large media companies in the field, such as Univision and NBC. All this work in various gaming and social media sectors shows that Andrew has a lot of experience and could help Splinterlands.
How did the marketing company Not Corrupt Media come about?
Along the way, Andrew realized that the big media companies were not benefiting players and creators, and worst of all, they were not treating their customers, their content creators and much less their staff well. Thus, Andrew, seeking ethics, saw an opportunity in blockchain, leaving behind the environment of large media companies, he decided to create ‘Not Corrupt Media’, looking for a group of people with the same ideas of trust and excellence, to work in Web3, a space in which decentralization brings power to the customer and players, with the ability to be rewarded and have real ownership of their assets, something that the games he worked with were not capable of.
With that, already inserted in the media scene for web3 games, Andrew and his team at Not Corrupt Media, which has 45 collaborators, participated in the marketing of large NFT Games projects, such as Gods Unchained and Illuvium, both games that have some similarities with Splinterlands. Halfway through, while working on Illuvium, he ended up meeting a member of Splinterlands and they decided to partner up so that he and his company could help with the marketing of the Game. One thing to note is that they have been marketing web3 games full time for the past few years, so they have a lot of experience of what works and what doesn't and will be transferring that to Splinterlands.
Splinterlands & Not Corrupt Media
As a Marketing team that values trust and excellence, the meeting with Splinterlands seems to be going well for both sides. Because, on the side of Not Corrupt Media, they like to work with clients who seek excellence and are trustworthy, and Splinterlands is one of the oldest Blockchain Game projects in the entire market and has always valued the good functioning of the game first, which ended up leaving marketing and branding in the background. On the side of Splinterlands, they have already tried projects with large media companies and were not successful and, as Andrew himself said, this is a recurring story with his clients: they hire these companies that make big promises and then there are no results.

That's why this partnership makes perfect sense, as they are the ideal partner for each other, as Andrew seeks to be intrinsic to the very structure of the DAO and Tokenomics of Splinterlands, giving the decision-making power to the players. Still, Andrew seems to be so confident with the new phase of Splinterlands, that in a section of the Town Hall he says he accepts part of payments, instead of money, a significant portion of it in the Splinterlands governance token, locked $SPS, which shows us that he will really strive to bring excellence and be rewarded for it, not wanting to do just any job since the return will depend on his commitment to promoting Splinterlands.
What will be the Marketing Plan?

At the Town Hall, Andre shared with the attendees what he intends to deliver for Splinterlands. It will be a general upgrade of the game, ranging from a reformulation of the website and tournaments to a change of videos, images and trailers released on social media. This improvement will include a Motion Graphics Package, which are details of movement animation in the game and on the platform, including background, custom animation, borders, to make it more Premium.
Before the launch of the Arcana collection, you can expect: Fresh Branding, New Messaging, Motion Packed, Website Upgrade, New Medium Material, Original Content, Influencers Booked, Advertising Booked, Tracking and Reporting, Profitability. Also, an analysis of the flow of new users from the announcement to what they do on the Splinterlands website, with the entire New Player Experience part within the game so that they can progress smoothly.
Since Splinterlands is already a well-known game on Web3, the idea with all this upgrade and making the game more premium is to show that it is worth taking a look at Splinterlands again, because it will be improved more premium in the style of well-known games like Magic The Gathering or Gods Unchained, thus bringing this audiences who have already heard of the game and also audiences who are looking for a quality game, showing this in every part of the game and on social media.
It is worth remembering that it will not be a rebranding, so the game's color palette and logo will not be changed, but rather received an upgrade, giving an overall improvement to the appearance of Splinterlands.
