A topic that Splinterlands players should ask themselves from time to time is how to improve their deck or at least optimize it. With that in mind, in this Splinterlands Social Media Challenge we will address this subject, focusing on the restructuring and optimization of decks. Thus, the first topic will be about the importance of Archons as the fundamental piece of any deck, addressing the most cost-effective ones. Next, we will go through a valuable tip to improve the most used cards. Come learn all this now!
I'll be much appreaciated if you Upvote, Reblogs or give any Tips ( PIZZA 🍕, PGM 🎮, LOLZ 😆, ALIVE ❤️, etc ). Thanks and have good reading! 🍀

[ENGLISH VERSION]
Archons are the most important!
There always comes a point in many games where the player faces some kind of limitation. In MMORPGs, for example, this happens when the player can no longer progress in the main story of the game because they don't have the level or the necessary equipment. In the case of Splinterlands, one of the limitations in the game is related to the Archons, because they determine the level of the unit cards you can summon in the match.
Therefore, when building a deck or restructuring an existing one, you need to start by considering the level of your Archon. Archons are literally the foundation of any deck or combo in Splinterlands, because without them it's impossible to enter the match, even with the other cards, since in the team building phase, the first choice is precisely the Archon, followed by the other units.
To provide context, let's use Tarsa, a rare archon, as an example. At level 8, or max level, Tarsa can use all card rarities at their maximum levels: common level 10, rare level 8, epic level 6, and legendary level 4. Level 5 is an intermediate level, where it's possible to choose common monsters of level 6, rare monsters of level 5, epic monsters of level 4, and legendary monsters of level 3. This intermediate level is quite interesting to aim for because unit cards usually have most of their abilities at these levels, with their final ability only available at max level. Finally, at level 1, it's only possible to use level 1 cards.
It's clear, therefore, that the higher your summoner's level, the greater the ability to choose higher-level unit cards. Thus, to avoid limitations imposed by the archon, it's advisable to always have some leeway regarding their levels in case you have a stronger unit and want to use it. However, this isn't always necessary if your goal is to play around a specific level, meaning your cards should be around the level of your summoner and no higher.
Archons Cost vs. Benefit
Many beginner players use the rare archons from the Chaos Legion collection because they offer the best cost-benefit ratio among all the cards in the game. When searching websites and filtering to only show Archon cards, the first ones that appear are precisely those from the Chaos Legion collection. But don't forget to have at least a few Archons, because in matches not all elements are always available. I think at least 2 or 3 Archons are good to have at least one available most of the time.
The best part is that you can get a good Archon for an affordable price, ideal for those who are starting out or for those who are restructuring their deck. An example is Tarsa, which we discussed above. The cheapest BCX per unit is $0.069, but if you analyze it, you can find a cheaper price per BCX. The first offer for a level 6 Tarsa is $2,697, with the BCX costing $0.045. At this level, it already allows you to use a large portion of the game's cards for a very low price. It allows you to use: 8 Commons, 6 Rare, 5 Epic, and 3 Legendary.
Upgrade your most used cards!
Now let's address a tip more geared towards experienced Splinterlands players who are wondering what to do with their cards and are thinking about restructuring their deck. The tip is quite simple, but being simple doesn't necessarily mean it's not laborious. The idea is to analyze your recent matches, adjusting the filter to the last 100 ranked matches, and observe which of your cards have appeared most often and which ones don't usually appear as much.
After having this information, for example in some kind of table, try to improve your most used cards and also the cards that are available to improve that are soulbound since there isn't much that can be done with them, considering the limit of your summoner, which we discussed earlier. With this, you will end up making your deck even better, since your most used cards will be stronger.
