Frontier Hype x Community Feedback
Before we address this week's new feature, Frontier Draws, I think it's interesting to understand the context of Splinterlands' new game mode, Frontier Mode. Both on social media, in the game's Discord, and in conversations among players, Frontier Mode has been the main topic. We have feedback from one of the players, in an X post, as an example of the community's excitement. An image with the FRONTIER game option and positive feedback, saying it was a great success.
The promotion is so intense that the Splinterlands team itself is making trailers about this new game mode, announcing it as the Ultimate TCG challenge, with posts on X and Discord, as well as some trailers showing off the new features. Thus, we can see that not only was the community satisfied, but the team behind the game also seems to be happy and marketing this new mode.
What is Frontier Draw and its Rewards?
After understanding a little more about all the hype surrounding Splinterlands' new Frontier mode, which has once again attracted the public to interact more and challenge themselves in a more balanced mode, we were able to conclude that the free rewards are one of the main points that has satisfied the community. Knowing this, the Splinterlands team went further and in the latest update added Frontier Draw, a new way to reward players for playing Frontier Mode.
The Frontier Draw will be a weekly drawing in which players will earn tickets to participate by completing daily quests. Bronze rank quests receive one ticket, Silver rank quests receive two tickets, and Gold rank quests receive three tickets. This already provides some incentive for players to continually improve their ranking. Furthermore, it's another way for Frontier players to be rewarded for their playtime and motivate themselves to play the 24 daily matches.
Among the possible rewards that participants in the weekly draw can obtain are 5,920 Black Foil cards, 1,470 Gold Arcane cards, and 592 Black Arcane cards. I believe all of them are from the Frontier Mode participating collection, which are the Foundation cards. At the end of each week, 76 cards will be drawn for players who earn at least one ticket to participate in the Weekly Frontier Draw. The Splinterlands patch note for the latest update also revealed that there may be more ways to earn entries than just daily quests.
