This week's Community Engagement Challenge focuses on Support Articles, creating content to help the Splinterlands community through information-rich articles. Since we have the new Ambassador Program (#SplinterlandsAmbassador) in Splinterlands, this will be the theme of the Support Article, to inform the general public of this new feature, which aims to incentivize the creator with a reward. Come and find out everything about this new program in the Splinterlands Trading Card Game!

🔥 What is the Ambassador Program? Proposal!

In the latest update to Splinterlands, a new Referral model was added, called Ambassador Program. The original suggestion to change the game's Affiliate System came from bulldog1205, but the proposal that actually passed was from Crypto Eater, who made several changes to the original proposal and received the necessary number of votes from players to be implemented. The big change to the system is to ensure that those who promote the game do so in an organic and sustainable way by adding some extra requirements.

It's worth remembering that the 500 credits for when the person who uses your link buys the Speelbook are still valid. Also, to check out more details about this proposal, check out the link above!

Is it worth participating? Tiers! 🤔

There are two levels of benefits for Ambassador Program participants. The first is the Silver Tier, which requires you to invite at least 1 person to the Splinterlands NFT game. When you do this, you and your friend will earn 500 Credits, an amount that is equivalent to $0.50 and can be used to buy or rent NFTs, which are the cards used in the game's battles. In addition, you also earn 5% of the amount of Glint rewards from the End of Season Referral, and to avoid a possible exploit, a limit of 100% of your extra glint was placed.

In addition, we have the Gold tier, which requires 10 referrals who have spent at least $100 in the Splinterlands ecosystem, through the game's markets, secondary markets, or renting items. This was one of the changes added by CryptoEater to ensure the sustainability of the system, preventing anyone from being able to enter the Gold Tier, since it would be necessary to invite organically and for users to actually participate in the Splinterlands ecosystem, since they would have invested at least $100. Thus, as there would be 10 referrals, at least $1000 would be entering the game's economy so that the user receives the extra rewards of a 5% bonus for purchased packs and also 1% of the amount that the referral spends on transactions in the Splinterlands market.

This system ends up being sustainable because it ended up creating several locks to prevent users from exploiting this system, either by limiting or reducing earnings. One example is that 1% of transactions end up coming from the game team itself, which stops receiving a portion of the total value, but it is worth it because it is a new user in the ecosystem who perhaps if it were not for the program would not know about Splinterlands and would have a value of 0%. Furthermore, content creators end up being encouraged to create content about the game since there is a reward and the good thing is that it does not have a big negative impact, because there are reward systems that pay even more, which is unsustainable.

Leaderboard

A tip for content creators is to observe the Leaderboard available in the Ambassador Program tab. See which users have the highest number in each of the topics: Referrals, Spellbooks, Credits Earned, DEC Earned, Glint Earned. With that, analyze what they have done to achieve this result and use it as inspiration for you to do even better. After all, if they are in the top positions, they are doing something right.

If you are interested in learning more about Splinterlands, when registering your account, include the Referral Account of your friend or favorite creator. This way, you encourage them to continue creating content and also earn 500 extra credits. For content creators, this might be a good time to analyze the game and see if it makes sense to talk about it since the Ambassador program has just come out, so creators are still starting to find out more about it. However, as with any project, it is always good to analyze it calmly before dedicating time, to see if it is a style of game that you like, for example.
