Those who play and are familiar with the Splinterlands ecosystem may remember the livestreams that some influencers hosted on the crypto game's official Twitch channel, known as SplinterlandsTV. During these livestreams, the hosts often held giveaways for the community watching the content. This is closely related to the topic we'll be covering in this week's Splinterlands Social Media Challenge, which will focus on the new Arena Fanatic card, dubbed the Influencer Card by the Splinterlands team, and the Twitch Drops.

So, come learn a little about SplinterlandsTV, the details of this new Arena Fanatic card, and how to participate in Twitch Drops! After all, the goal of this Splinterlands event is precisely to attract and engage the NFT game community with prizes, so promoting this new content will help further expand this campaign.

I'll be much appreaciated if you Upvote, Reblogs or give any Tips ( PIZZA 🍕, PGM 🎮, LOLZ 😆, ALIVE ❤️, etc ). Thanks and have good reading! 🍀

[ENGLISH VERSION]

What is SplinterlandsTV?

SplinterlandsTV is the official Splinterlands channel on Twitch, which aimed to bring 24 hours of content to the community with the participation of various content creators and streamers who created content about the crypto game or were involved in some way. It was very common in these streams for content creators to hold giveaways for viewers, some as prizes for beating them in a Splinterlands match, or simply a raffle with all users who decided to participate using a command in the stream chat.

As I recall, interested creators registered somehow, I believe by contacting someone on the Splinterlands team, indicating their interest in participating in the stream. The Splinterlands team then fitted the influencer's time into the livestream schedule, meaning that as soon as one stream ended, another was ready to go.

Interestingly, this project rewarded the community, promoted publicity for the game, and distributed the revenue from the streams to the creators—a great way to sustainably support the entire Splinterlands ecosystem. Could we see the return of SplinterlandsTV with this new feature?

I think it's interesting to begin our analysis of the new card with its inspiration, which was a stadium fan who is always present to see his team win. Based on the card art and the character's Viking-like build, I thought he would be a melee card, but I was surprised when I saw that he's a ranged player. Could Arena Fanatic's choice of long-range attack be because he can throw something from the stands?

Another very interesting insight from the creators of this card was the inclusion of the ability. I believe the decision to add this ability was based on the fact that the presence of this unit on your team means it's rooting for your victory, strengthening all units on the battlefield that have retaliate, corrosive ward, magic reflect, return fire, and throns.

Since Arena Fanatic's ability only unlocks when it reaches maximum level 8, let's analyze its stats at that level. Starting with its most positive point, its element. As a Neutral monster, it can be used alongside any other element without any problems, increasing the combination possibilities of your decks.

Regarding its stats, starting with its attack, it has two long-range damage, which is interesting, but not so amazing for 5 mana. It's a card you can choose to put in the backline to avoid sneak attacks, because it has 6 HP and 4 shield, which will allow it to defend your team from some attacks and still provide support with Amplify.

In addition to the new card, the way players can earn it was also announced: through a Twitch Drop. It will work as follows: after linking their Twitch account to Splinterlands, the player will watch one of their favorite Splinterlands streamers. After 15 hours of watching, a notification will appear and the card will arrive in their inventory. In addition to the card, there are also some glint rewards.

This new campaign could be a fresh start for Splinterlands on Twitch, and if it attracts a good number of streamers and viewers, it could be a good indication of a return to SplinterlandsTV.
