After the end of the events in survival mode, the amount of glint obtained at the end of the season decreased drastically. I don't know if we'll see another opportunity to get glint and improve cards like we did in the last seasons, because no other event or source of glint has been announced that would give such a large amount as the 250k glint from the survival event.
Another point is that, like the number of brackets, we no longer have information about what it will be like in future seasons, since in this one several survival mode brackets were disabled and the rating wasn't reset for players who had already participated in that bracket, creating a very difficult competition, allowing only a few users to reach the top 25 ranking of that bracket.
This top 25 is important because with it the player receives an ascension token and participates in the ascension tournament with the opportunity to win around 30k extra glint, which is more than half or sometimes an entire season's worth of glint for a player...
Now the question remains: how to get more glint in the game? And precisely because of this low influx of glint this season, and probably in future seasons as well, it becomes very difficult to focus on improving epic and legendary cards, since they require a very large quantity, and thus, the focus returns to common and rare cards.
I'll be much appreaciated if you Votes, Reblogs or give any Tips. Thanks and have good reading! 🍀
5 Common Reward Cards Upgraded in Splinterlands
This season, using the rewards from EOS and the glint accumulated throughout the season, we opened a significant number of common chests, I think around 200 common draws, which allowed us to upgrade more than 5 common cards from the Arcane Conclave Reward collection, and all of them, without exception, were upgraded to a level that gave a gigantic upgrade.
The featured card this time was Husk of the Hunter because it gained a new ability upon reaching level 8. The ability is called Reveal, which allows it to reveal units with camouflage from being attacked. This makes this card a counter to both archers and units with camouflage.
Next, we have both Grim Bonewhip and Surgeblade, which have been leveled up to 8 and gained +1 attack, finally making them competitive for ranked matches. Bonewhip now has 3 melee damage and Surgeblade now has 4 damage. Now, only level 10, where Bonewhip gains Execute and Surgeblade gains Blast, will be truly interesting to use.
Finally, we also had the upgrade of two other cards, Stonebind Matron and Ironwing Juggernaut, which went to level 8 and also gained +1 attack. In the case of Ironwing, as with the previous ones, it was melee damage, while Matron is magic damage. Both became very strong now and were already widely used. At level 10, Matron will gain Poison Burst and Ironwing will gain void armor.
It might seem simple since there are only 2 levels left, 9 and 10, to reach the max level, but the amount needed is the same as it took to reach the current level (8), so I believe the focus now is precisely on reaching the maximum level of the common items for now.
