To faucet or not to faucet – tips?

By Pletz_kc | cryptomania & Life | 10 Jun 2019

I have been actively claiming for about a year now and wished to share my experiences with my crypto enthusiast or newbs just starting out. I certainly wished I had some help as it could have saved me a lot of time and hassle.
Firstly not all faucets are equal – ones that pay immediately and ones that have payment thresholds – beware of the latter – you may be putting a lot of effort in to reach the threshold only to find its all a scam and you don’t get paid – or halfway through the faucet is shut down. Secondly the old mantra rings especially true – “If it sounds too good to be true – it usually is” No-one is going to give away crypto for nothing – there is usually strings attached or out and out scam. Choose wisely where you invest your time and effort.
Thirdly – know your decimals – if you are like me mathematically challenged – faucets are a minefield – some use decimals others more – and while you think you are making serious satoshi’s – you will be desperately disappointed – when you cash out!
Fourthly don’t use exchanges to store your coins – I spent the guts of 6 months to gather Black coin – only to transfer to an exchange – to find out that they had discontinued the coin listing – there is no sympathy. So check addresses before you cash out from faucethub or coinpot.
By far the best way I have found to claim is by doing surveys – especially the less valuable of the coins – you can amass a good bit quickly and then change it ( Changelly or Coinswitch)into an altcoin you hope is going to be the next Bitcoin.
Finally faucets can be invaluable in getting in early on airdrops – I got in on Tron when it just came out and it has been a valuable asset ever since.
Hope this is helpful and thank you for taking the time to read – happy to share my list of faucets that pay and are easy to use – send me a pm
adios - buena suerte
