If you've been in crypto for the past few years, you've already likely heard of the Brave browser. It is a browser that prioritizes privacy, which built-in ad blockers, data protection and a VPN. On top of the many features, perhaps what makes it stand out the most is the utilization of Basic Attention Token (BAT). Once you enable the option, users can earn BAT simply by viewing the ad pop-ups. You do not need to click on the ads to receive the benefits of BAT. The amount of ads you receive will largely depend on where you live and the amount advertisers are paying in a given time period. For example, the amount of ads I've received has varied widely depending on where I've lived. The first 1.5 years or so of my Brave use was when I was living on the west coast in the United States. I'd regularly earn around 10 BAT per month on a single device. However, I've since moved to Asia where I am lucky to see more than 2-3 ads every few days which yields about 1 BAT per month. With that said, I'm still happy with Brave due to its ease of use plus at least it is paying me something for my attention rather than Chrome, Firefox or Edge which pays nothing.

Some Background and How I've Earned 422 BAT in Two Years

I have the Brave Browser on three devices. I use two laptops and a single mobile device. About 75% of my BAT came from my primary laptop and the mobile device. As mentioned above, I lived on the west coast in the US where advertisers would spend a lot of money compared to my time spent in Asia. Since beginning about two years ago, I've earned 422 BAT which is equal to about $88.00 USD.

At its current value, that is about $3.50 per month or ironically as the kids these days call it, tree-fiddy. Not too bad I'd say as it is passive income as you do earn as you browser not even needing to click on the ads.

Of course we are in a bear market at the time of this writing thus I do not plan on selling my BAT until the value is much higher.

     - Install it on multiple devices that you use.
     - Live in an area where advertisers are focusing on.
     - Enable all the settings to earn ads.
