At the Swiss city of Lugano the government has partnered with cryptocurrency Tether to encourage the use of this method of payment in a variety of businesses like McDonald's and regional museums.

Although the bitcoin craze is gradually waning, there are still a lot of people and businesses that want to change this and make digital currencies an accepted form of payment once and for all.

The major goal of this project, known as Plan B, is to introduce bitcoins as a new practical payment mechanism for its residents while also altering the city's financial system.

All of the stores, which currently number 12, including a McDonald's, art galleries, and other types of companies, will use GoCrypto to make this a reality.

At all corporate levels, this service of payment and cryptographic solutions enables and expedites transactions so they can be completed promptly. Nevertheless, they note that the Plan B initiative does not end here and that they expect many than 2,000 clients to utilize it after they acquire authorization, which they expect to happen in the next 25 days. The Plan Foundation? aims to permit more than 2,500 businesses to accept payments by the end of 2023.
