I'm often late to the party.
Sometimes, that means I arrive just as people are feeling loose and already dancing.
Other times, it means that I get interested in cryptocurrency just as Bitcoin halves, and the party's broken up.
But, it's OK. I'm also stubborn. I took my lack of foresight as a boon. I mean, at this point, I won't get rich (probably). Therefore, it means there's nothing (literally) to lose.
So, that's what I've done: I entered the altcoin world determined to have nothing to lose. And, so far, I've made some legitimate coin for (almost) nothing...so everything I've picked up -- knowledge and any "actual" value -- is all gain (IMHO).
I've cobbled together a tiny, baby portfolio (srsly, small. But mine!) that I'm really proud of.
And if I can come late to this party, with, basically, zero knowledge of crypto, and pick up the basics and a little collection, then anyone -- seriously -- anyone can.
And I believe that you should. If you're here, then you're game.
The key principles I found, over and over, reading about different projects, coins, and the history of blockchain is the democratization of finance.
Crypto is about access. Everyone, no matter who they are, where they live, should have access, and, more impressively, with very few tools.
Welcome to cryptokitten. In this blog, I'll walk you through basics -- sometimes, as I learn them myself. I'll share the tips and pitfalls I learn/ed the hard way, review new dAPPS and services (and you'll probably get to watch me walk into walls in real time). If you're a beginner, feeling intimidated, or like you don't have the technical knowledge or any money you feel comfortable playing with as an investment, this blog's for you.
Thanks for reading. Stop back soon for my first actual post, and feel free to leave comments and suggestions (+1 civilized).
