New, Old, and My Draws!

With the discontinuation of the old chests and the introduction of draws on Splinterlands, the RNG factor - at least when it comes to rewards - has been dropping further down.

Thanks to the new shop, in fact, it is now possible to control much more accurately the kind of rewards we hope to get, avoiding, for example, potions or merits points if we are not interested in them.

Until a couple of days ago, if we wanted to get cards it was possible to buy random draws: their price starts from 100 GLINT and goes up to 5000 GLINT, and each price increase corresponds to a greater probability to find increasingly rare cards within a draw.

For every 10 draws of the same type purchased, moreover, the price in GLINT of the next 10 increases by 50%.

For example, in the current Season I have already purchased 10 Master draws, and their price has thus increased to 7500 GLINT.

This means that until the beginning of the next Season it will not be particularly convenient for me to purchase these Draws and I will have to focus my attentions on the lower level ones.

New Draws!

Since yesterday, however, new Draws have also made their appearance in the shop section, the purpose of which is to offer players even more control in choosing their rewards, as well as offering a new method to spend their accumulated GLINT.

With rarity draws it is thus possible to focus on cards of a specific rarity, albeit at a cost that, at least for Epics and Legendaries, begins to be quite high.

Here again the same rule applies as above, whereby after buying 10 draws of one type the cost of the next 10 will increase by 50% until the next Season.

I personally don't think I will buy these new draws for the time being, because the GLINT I get in a Season is roughly enough to buy 10 Epic and 10 Master draws, which, to date, are giving me great rewards.

My Draws

Yesterday, in fact, a Season on Splinterlands ended and I took the opportunity to immediately go and spend all the GLINT I had set aside by purchasing 8 Epic draws and 10 Master draws.

The results were excellent and allowed me to bring to level 3 the Neutral Legendary card Drybone Raider, which I often use in battle and which in certain rulesets is absolutely devastating.

Surely if I could accumulate more GLINT I would not dislike buying some Legendary draw, in the hope of finding some of the cards I still lack...

For now, however, I can't complain about the situation, with my collection getting stronger and more competitive and now allowing me to play stably in the Diamond/Champion League of the Wild format.

I Nuovi, i Vecchi ed i Miei Draws!

Con l'abbandono dei vecchi forzieri e l'introduzione dei draws su Splinterlands il fattore RNG - almeno quando si parla di ricompense - è andato sempre più calando.

Grazie al nuovo shop, infatti, è adesso possibile controllare in maniera molto più accurata il tipo di ricompense che speriamo di ottenere, evitando ad esempio le pozioni o i punti merits, se non ci interessano.

Fino ad un paio di giorni fa, se si volevano ottenere delle carte era possibile acquistare dei random draws: il loro prezzo parte da 100 GLINT ed arriva fino a 5000 GLINT e ad ogni incremento di prezzo corrisponde un maggior numero di chances di trovare carte sempre più rare all'interno di un draws.

Ogni 10 draws di uno stesso tipo acquistati, inoltre, il prezzo in GLINT dei successivi 10 aumenta del 50%.

Nella Stagione in corso io ad esempio ho già acquistato 10 draws di livello Master, ed il loro prezzo è quindi aumentato a 7500 GLINT.

Ciò significa che fino all'inizio della prossima Stagione non sarà per me particolarmente conveniente acquistare questi Draws e dovrò concentrare le mie attenzioni su quelli di livello inferiore.

Nuovi Draws!

Da ieri, tuttavia, nella sezione shop hanno fatto la loro comparsa anche dei nuovi Draws, il cui obiettivo è quello di offrire ancora più controllo ai giocatori nello scegliere i propri premi, oltre ad offrire un nuovo metodo per spendere il GLINT accumulato.

Con i rarity draws è così possibile concentrarsi su carte di una specifica rarità, sebbene ad un costo che, almeno per Epiche e Leggendarie, comincia ad essere parecchio alto.

Anche qui vale la stessa regola di cui sopra, per cui dopo aver acquistato 10 draws di un tipo il costo dei successivi 10 aumenterà del 50% fino alla Stagione successiva.

Personalmente per ora non credo che acquisterò questi nuovi draws, perchè il GLINT che ottengo in una Stagione è più o meno sufficiente per acquistare 10 Epic e 10 Master draws che, ad oggi, mi stanno dando ottime soddisfazioni.

I Miei Draws

Ieri è infatti finita una Stagione su Splinterlands ed ho sfruttato l'occasione per andare subito a spendere tutto il GLINT che avevo messo da parte acquistando 8 Epic draws e 10 Master draws.

I risultati sono stati eccellenti e mi hanno consentito di portare al livello 3 la carta Neutrale Leggendaria Drybone Raider, che sfrutto spesso in battaglia e che in certi rulesets è assolutamente devastante.

Sicuramente se riuscissi ad accumulare più GLINT non disdegnerei l'acquisto di qualche Legendary draw, nella speranza di trovare qualcuna delle carte che ancora mi mancano...

Per ora però non posso lamentarmi della situazione, con la mia collezione che diventa sempre più forte e competitiva e mi consente ormai di giocare stabilmente nella Lega Diamante/Campione del formato Wild.
