The TCG blockchain game Splinterlands announced its upcoming first-ever Land presale on November 7th, 2020, at 12:00 PM ET / 16:00 UTC.
Adding Land to the game is part of the planned expansion, which is the most significant update on its existence. The expansion includes new types of cards and significant refining to the existing battle system. Even more, Splinterlands plans to add an entire additional game within the game where players will be in control of the new cards minting.
About The Land Sale
There will be 150,000 Plots available divided into 150 separate Regions, each containing 1,000 contiguous plots. Sale Participants can purchase a whole Tract (100+ plots) or even an entire Region (1000+ plots).
Having land plots near each other will be important for strategic reasons, and the game offers significant discounts for buying in bulk.
One more critical aspect of the Land addition is Governance that will give players voting rights correspondingly to the Plots they own.
