Today is the first Monday of November and it means today it's a Pay Day here at Publish0x!
Since the early morning my local time I see people occasionally doing what in my slang is called financial striptease -- "my monthly earnings report" styled articles.
I don't want to put any negative attitude in these words. Actually, I love striptease of all kinds. And financial striptease is a good opportunity to learn new tips and tricks.
This morning I was wondering how wide can be the difference between bloggers' earnings.
I've seen an article where one guy tells that the last month he's got about 300 pounds (or about 400 bucks) from blogging at Publish0x. And the real miracle is that he's got it spending like a couple of hours a day (partly at the expense of his employer, as far as I could understand) on blogging and related activities. I don't know if those 300 pounds are decent money for the country he lives in, but for me to have extra 300 pounds for a couple of extra hours a day would look like a good addition to my paycheck.
I've also seen another guy who managed to get less than 100 bucks last month -- working almost daily. I mean blogging for him seem to be a daily job which consumes a lot of his time. And I can believe it, as far as I could see last month he really posted quite a few lengthy articles. Again, I don't know if those ~100 bucks is decent money for the country the guy lives in, but personally I would be much better off financially taking 8-hours shifts at McDonalds (not to mention free lunches they offer there).
It would be very beneficial to know the reason, to know why the first guy is so successful with so little effort, and the other guy is dragging far behind despite of his putting in so much more effort. Unfortunately, I don't know the reason.
Probably my ignorance is the reason why blogging at Publish0x is far from being a source of income for me:
Like 25 bucks at today's rate for almost a year of blogging! As if I'm writing my posts for The Great Justice only.
And it's true, actually. I do my posts mostly when the inner writer in me goes completely off his nuts. It's not a right way to make blogging a source of income.
Anyway, I do wish to the both guys, and to everyone, to have more success in November!
