Time to Buy

Wake up! Time to die!

Many of youtube gurus look a bit confused. Only a week ago they talked about "store of value", "save heaven", and "digital gold" at $135-250K pretty soon. Then TA-DAMM -- a new Monday happened, exactly like Mr. Taleb described it in his books.

Actually, for quite a long time it was pretty clear that ~$10K was the max for BTC for now. Really, why would it go higher? Only because some Fibonacci bands or similar sh*t "tells" it will? The only reason for the BTC price to go higher is when there're enough people with money who's ready to buy BTC at a higher price. It was clear that there were no such people anymore willing to buy at $11K or higher.

In that bull run, I doubled my pennies. And I exchanged all my "store of value" pennies for stable-coins when BTC moved above $10K for the first time. I didn't make a post or anything about that. Why should I, actually? That time it would bring me only some newly introduced downvotes, for being "negative".

Anyway, now I'm back in "digital gold" again. Namely, I've spent all my stablecoin pennies to BTMX tokens at Bitmax.

The best thing about BTMX tokens is that when you hodl them, Bitmax pays you daily dividends -- in BTC, ETH and stable-coins.

I managed to invest my pennies when BTMX APR was about 35%. It was a bad trade, I was too impatient, but it's another story. Now BTMX APR is above 50%, and I plan to invest some more pennies there.

Is it a risky investment? Yes, definitely. But 50% in USD yearly at Goingecko's #30 exchange is not the worst deal for me.

Well, back to our "store of value" "digital gold". At the moment of writing this, I see it at about $5300.

And there's no reason why it can't go down to $3K, or $2K, or even $42.

However, I'm overall bullish towards crypto. And that's why:

The current market dump was caused mainly by coronavirus pandemia and the oil crisis.

First, today's coronavirus is nothing like, say, the Black Death of Middle Ages. Its death toll is relatively high (e.g. relative to the "ordinary" flu) but still far less than, say, monthly car accident casualties. Creating a vaccine seems to be only a matter of time, and the first news about successful tests, even on mice, will push the market up. And we'll probably have such news within months.

Second, no oil country really wants cheap oil and all the more -- an oil price war. Because Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait will then face problems with their state debts and creditors. Russia will face a big dump in budget revenues and skyrocketing consumer prices for everything. The US will get a handful of the corporate bankruptcies, oil workers fired and tax revenues diminished. Iran will face budget troubles and political instability. Civil wars in Iraq, Libya and alike will intensify, as every field leader will want to control more oil ventures. Maduro's Venezuela will simply blow up. Shortly, I think that by April the 1st we will see a new oil cut agreement and the prices will go up.

Third, today's BTC dump is probably not only investors selling their "storage of value", but also quite a handful of traders making short-selling.

In other words, I believe in seeing the BTC price being back within several months. And maybe even higher than $10K, if people start buying BTC the same way they sell it now.

Fortunately, I don't need to "believe" that much. With my BTMX holdings at Bitmax.io, I'm not much interested in the token's price (which is loosely pegged to BTC moves, just like all other alive altcoins), but rather in how much dividends it brings. Yup, it's exactly what Mr. Buffet ordered. As long as it brings me 50% APR in US$ -- I can afford to wait for the next crypto bull run.
