By now we've all heard the sad news about the demise of Coinpot and its seven associated faucets - we can play what if and wish we found them earlier or used them more, but the fact is they're going and we need to make peace with that.

As a long time user, I can attest Coinpot was perhaps the easiest, but nowhere near the highest potential ways to get free bitcoin.

Even combining tokens and satoshis into one currency and withdrawing wasn't netting me a lot of money, so I want to show you the three most profitably sources of free bitcoin I am using that you can seamlessly replace your time spent on coinpot with.

Coinpayu:

Coinpayu blows most of the other faucets out of the water with its ability to earn and currently extremely low withdrawal fees. With any faucet, they can cancel your account at any time, so withdrawing as soon as you hit the minimum threshold is highly recommended. I've been stung losing 45,000 satoshi by not doing this before as I was trying to store it up. 

The best thing about Coinpayu is it has recently expanded in two key ways:

• The addition of an hourly faucet
• The release of a mobile app

These two factors combined with it's excellent offer walls that often reward you with satoshi even if you don't qualify for the surveys mean you can earn around 10k a day in a small amount of time, should you choose to.

Cointiply:

I am totally enamoured with Cointiply, and now i'm nearing level 80, I've learned all of the tricks. 

Most of it is fairly self explanatory: click ads, watch videos, roll the faucet and complete surveys, so I'll try to bring you value by talking about advanced cointiply tactics here and in another, more in-depth post:

• Buy items using cointivity points and equip them to boost your offer payouts
• Qualify for chat rain before you do anything else, and do this hourly
• Lie your ass off in the registration for offer walls so you qualify for everything!

Stormgain Free Cloud Miner:

Whilst this is much harder to both figure out and profit from, I made more than everything else combined on an especially good day using leverage to make nearly $100 dollars in Ethereum in about an hour, it was beautiful.

Here's what you need to do in order to use Stormgain like a pro and make free money from it:

• Register and switch on the miner every four hours, building up those sweet satoshis.
• Even when you've got to the 10 dollar minimum withdrawal, you should be mining when the price is low and selling on a pump, so you can get about $14 dollars rather than 10, this is really important so that you can set a stop loss and not go below 10 and have 9.50 you can no longer trade with due to the minimum trade value of 10.
• Once you've got your Tether from the miner withdrawal, head over to trades and take a look at the indexes (these are safer bets than individual cryptos):
• If the index is green and looks likely to keep going up, open a buy trade with a leverage of 50. Even though you can use much higher leverage (up to 300%) the commission from the trade will instantly kill your money and you'll have to start over again. I use leverages between 10 and 50 and watch it creep up. 
• Set a stop loss and take profit of $2. If you've got $14 from mining you will get two chances to profit from this, but hopefully you'll make 2 each time, taking you up to around $18.
• Once you've got $20 dollars you can start to get braver with the leverage and set it higher and higher.
• Every time you profit, exchange some of it into your crypto of choice, as well as increasing your amount of tether to make sure you're never likely to go under $10.
• Repeat the process.

Stormgain has high withdrawal fees, but you can get around this by depositing from elsewhere to boost the amount in your account, and then withdrawing it again.
