I am one among many who believes in the power of loyalty, loyalty to me spawns across so many things. Am loyal to my family tenets, my religious tenets as well as my cultural beliefs. While I may not assume that I am a saint in these, and like you I have seldom wandered from the teaching and indoctrinations of my values, but like an elastic I usually return almost immediately to our core.
The power of loyalty is so strong in my family that alas every one in the family is a Barcelona fan, of course it spares us the challenge of fighting who is better between Messi and Ronaldo, Barcelona and Real Madrid, as the answer is almost ubiquitous for us. Maybe this is again the power of loyalty and its benefit, unlike my neighbour whenever the match starts its almost like the third world war is going on in their house. The father is a Manchester united fan, the mother is a Chelsea fan, the three children, Barcelona, Arsenal and Real Madrid, while the grandfather is a Liverpool fan. We will always stay in our rooms to hear the loud noise coming out from their house to know who is winning, of course the loudest voice is always and indicator of who is winning.
The problem with how we were raised is that it has even affected our loyalties to brands, its always Coca cola before Pepsi, KFC over McDonald's, Adidas over Nike and the list goes on. While you may be quick to judge me for my conservative view of brands and life generally, what about you? What justification do you still have holding on to YouTube when there is LBRY, Bitchute etc. What justification do you have holding on to Facebook while there is STEEMIT, I can't imagine people still read blogs on Medium while there is Publish0x. Underneath this is our underlying loyalty which while not bad does not allow you to know who is winning.
When next the match starts and you want to know who is winning don't bother listening to the noise coming out from my family, because ours is a noise that is always unilateral. Many of my readers are actually in this my family, to them Google is the best, Facebook is great, twitter is awesome, cash is king, this unilateral way of thinking does not allow us to know the disruptions, the great players in the other side.
When next there is a match, listen to my neighbour family, theirs is unique and authentic, the ups and down there depicts the reality that exists, and of course the loudest voice there depict who is winning. Guess what? The match has actually started, its the match between block chain powered platforms against conventional ones, block chain decentralized platforms like Publish0x, THETA, HIVE to mention but few are changing the narratives. The noise am hearing from my neighbours house indicates that the winner is actually block chain. Its so loud a noise that Facebook is beginning to adopt block chain. We cannot judge the winner without looking at who is making the loudest noise, can you observe that the noise from conventional platforms are dwindling? Can you observe that everywhere right now we are hearing block chain, crypto currency, coins etc. Is this the indication of who is actually winning this match?
The match had actually started, and the score board is indicating that Block chain is winning.
