What is Splinterlands?
Splinterlands is a Play2Earn game, where you can play battle against other players to get a better rank or in tournaments. It is a NFT game based on Hive Blockchain, with multiple ways to capitalise and make money, real money, by playing it or trading in it. You can start earning as soon as you buy a Spellbook ($10) getting SPS tokens and NFT monster cards via daily quests and season quests (every 2 weeks). Sometimes you may even win a 5 cards packs with your rewards. You can also get rewards from staking the SPS you got from rewards, or by owning a node licence (4 Vouchers and 22 SPS daily this week), or from owning Nightmare packs (the Tower Defence game) or Land NFTs. Bonus, if you stake SPS, until October 2023, for a whole year, you will receive daily GLS tokens airdropped to use on the Genesis League game, which can be also staked now for extra rewards.
Right now you can still buy NFT packs from Chaos Legion and Riftwatchers collections. An awesome hint from a really good player (not me), if you open your packs after the Legendary summoners are introduced, you have a small chance to get them from the packs.
The Molten Ash Golem are made and followers of the Forgotten One, serving him and burning everything in their way. At max level, it has 3 Ranged Damage, 2 Speed and 10 Health, for a 6 Mana cost. It is a good card combo with Yodin Zaku, ideal for Poison Ruleset due to its high Health. At level 1 it has Close Range skill, attacking even from the first position. (Again, tank when Poison ruleset, low mana cap battles.). At level 5 gains Weaken skill (minus -1 Health) and at max level 8 it gains Demoralize (minus -1 Melee Attack).

Mine - Summoner: Yodin Zaku as summoner, providing extra +1 Ranged Attack, +1 Health and Blast, with Lord Arianthus as main tank using Void and Shield to decrease all kind of damage, Molten Ash Golem as back-up, using Close Range to attack from the first position, Fire Demon and Imp Bowman with Flying as boosted Rangers, and a Chaos Agent on the back to protect from Sneak, using Dodge skill.
Opponent - Summoner: Kelya Frendul as summoner, boosting Speed and Armor by +1, Djinn Oshanus as main tank with Void to decrease Magic damage, Xenith Archer, Merdaali Guardian as tank healer, Scavo Hireling repairing the Armor and Shipping Narwhal with Snipe on the last position.
Round 1 - Hits were exchanged, no fatalities.
Round 2 - Hits were exchanged, once more, no fatalities.
Round 3 - His Xenith Archer dies from Blast.
Round 4 - His Guardian dies from Blast. No more tank healing, finally!
Round 5 - His Hireling dies from Blast. No more Armor repair too. My Molten Ash Golem is also sniped to death by the Narwhal.
Round 6 - I am managing to kill Oshanus, now that it is not healed anymore. Lord Arianthus survives the battle with 1 Health.
Round 7 - Opponent last card, the Narwhal, is defeated. Victory is mine.
Star of the game - No doubt, Lord Arianthus, keeping the team safe until the bitter end.
