Hello Splinterlands Summoners and welcome to another edition of Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge. For this week, the ruleset is Stampede: The Trample ability can trigger multiple times per attack if the trampled Monster is killed.
The Ruleset

Stampede: The Trample ability can trigger multiple times per attack if the trampled Monster is killed.
Even Stevens: Only Monsters with even Mana costs may be used in battles.
Available Splinters: Fire
Max Mana: 50
My Team
The ruleset is not easy to take advantage of since there are few units with Trample ability. Also, we only have one Splinter to choose from. Nonetheless, there was one monster in the Fire team that I could have used but unfortunately, I don't have Chaos Orc in my deck. With limited choices I had to make the best of what I have in my deck.
Drybone Megaladon

I'm excited to use the new reward cards so in this battle with limited choices this seems to be a good choice. Drybone Megalon deals a lot of melee damage and more importantly it has the Flank ability. Flank gives Reach ability to the monster in the second position.
Drybone Raider

Drybone Raider having the Reach ability means that it will hit 4 times with a potential total damage of 8. This is one of my favorite and often used cards out of the Chaos Legion soulbound reward cards.
Ferexian Hero

It's not that optimal to use this card in the third position since it will only deal damage once unit in the first position gets eliminated. I was also not able to take advantage of his Weapons Training ability. However, my Fire Splinter bench is kinda shallow so I picked this card hoping that it will deal decent damage when its chance comes.
Molten Ash Golem

Molten Ash Golem will deal 2 ranged damage from this position. It also has the Close Range ability which will be important once the other monsters get eliminated.
Magi of Chaos

Magi of Chaos deals 3 magic damage. I'm hoping my tanks will survive long enough for my backline monsters to do damage.
Scavo Firebolt

Scavo Firebolt is a mainstay in my Fire team. For just 4 mana, it deals 3 Ranged damage from the backline.
The Opponent
My opponent has the lower level summoner at level 4. However, his team composition has more synergy. He has the faster team because of Krash Wanderford, a Gladius card that grants +1 Speed to his team. His back line is also stronger.
The Battle
My opponents faster team quickly decimated mine. My tank died even before my Drybone Raider took a turn. His Technowizologist also kept stunning my units making them ineffective in this battle. I lost this one against a better team.

Conclusion
In Splinterlands it's important to have deep deck so that we will have a lot of choices when the ruleset will limit the number of cards to choose from. I don't have Riftwatchers cards and Rebellion which could have made a difference in this battle. Anyway, there are still more fun battles to look forward to. Sometimes we win and sometimes we don't.
Thank you for reading and have fun playing Splinterlands!
