11 days ago I took the risk and switched from the Google Chrome browser to the Brave browser. A big change for me, as I've been using Chrome's browser for years. However, on multiple recommendations, the path has now led me towards Brave.
What does the Brave Browser do better than the others?
The Brave Browser offers several advantages over many others. On the one hand, Brave offers an integrated ad blocker that can be turned on and off at the push of a button, and on the other hand it blocks cookies and trackers on the websites. When it comes to speed, Brave has the lead over the Chrome browser, at least in my test. The crucial point for many, however, is the Basic Attention Token that you can earn when using the Brave Browser.
Basic Attention Token
The Basic Attention Token is the heart of the Brave Browser with many possible uses. Advertisers can use BAT tokens to advertise their projects in the Brave Browser, users can earn a cut of 70% (30% goes to Brave)out of it by viewing this advertisement and then pay them out or donate them to other users and websites.
How do you earn BAT Tokens?
There are two different ways to earn BAT tokens.

1. Advertisement as a background image in a new tab window. If you open a new tab you will get an advertisement from time to time. If you keep this open for 20 seconds, you will usually get 0.01 Bat Token credited. This can be switched off at any time in the options.
2. Manually click on ads. In your Rewards settings you can set how often you get the opportunity to view an advertisement per hour. You can set this between one to five times or switch it off completely. If you get an ad, a small window will appear at the bottom right that you can click on and take you to a new tab. If you do this, you will be credited between 0.01-0.025 as compensation.
How much can you earn with the Brave Browser?
In my test, I earned 0.2 bat tokens ($ 0.08) on average with average usage per day.
In order to be able to withdraw your tokens, however, you must have an Uphold account and have at least 25 Bat Tokens in your wallet. This corresponds to about 125 days for every 0.2 Bat Tokens that I have to collect in order to be able to withdraw them.
Conclusion
The Brave Browser is a good alternative to the usual browsers with the possibility to earn some BAT without much effort.
