This post is related to something "new" about the Publish0x website itself.
The 15th June 2021 Igor Tomić (Publish0x Official Blog) published the following post:
Personally, I didn't see it here, but noted in the telegram group, so I after searched it to better check what they were talking about.
To summarize I have understood the most important points are the 2 below:
1) the aim is to improve the quality of the articles instead of the quantity
2) the tipping token would be less and divided in half

Here there are my personal opinions:
Point 1: improve the quality of the articles instead of the quantity
I have some doubts of this part!
I do not want to make an enemy of someone here in this website writing some countertrend.
The foreword is without any doubt that I found this initiative very interesting from the very first time I noted it.
But also, I am afraid of this selection, because a common person like me would probably not be valuated as enough interesting for the contents.
I discovered this website only making some crypto research three months ago. How writers could make it more inclusive if only crypto expert topics are considered live up to expectations? If I write in Italian or about, for example, my passion in volunteering, no one is going to read or tip me... are this sort of "censorships" really encouraging and /or constructive?
But, having said that, I believe things are reaching the point where the founders make decisions they consider essential for "Long Term Sustainability" ... who am I to judge? Let's see what’s next!
Pont 2: the tipping token would be less and divided in half
I find this part advantageous!
As you can see from the image below, my earning are insignificant that I have never had the possibility to withdraw them.
Also, what should I could have done with a so low amount, especially of ETH and its famous high fees? (Any suggestion would be anyway accepted, so please do not hesitate to write them in the comments below!)
So, even if the value is reduced (in a long term views, I do not think someone could criticize this choice for a pioneering initiative cutting edge like Publis0x) , I appreciate the fact to accumulate more value of less currencies that maybe one day I can withdraw and really re invest in who knows what.
In my case, this part, is the change I am expecting during next days:
All of the tips in the next period on Publish0x will be in AMPL and iFARM, where the chance will be equal that you will get a tip in either of the two tokens.
That means that ETH is no longer used as a tipping token, as of now. You can withdraw your ETH between now and the 28th of June, 2021. On Tuesday, the 29th of June, the remaining ETH will be converted to it's corresponding $USD value in AMPL.
This means I wont't have ETH anymore, and the AMPL amount is going to be increased the 28th of June.
What do you think about this "unpleasant news" shared?
