Here are some major news on Cosmos:
Cosmoshub
We have seen Cosmoshub v7-Theta update this week, the most exciting feature is sure "interchain accounts", enabled interchain accounts enabled L1's can use this feature to
- Create and control accounts on the Cosmos Hub
- Perform Cosmos Hub native transactions
with this and next updates Cosmoshub, like shared security, will be the center of the multichain ecosystem.
Osmosis
Osmosis added a frontier.osmosis.zone, which is permissionless DEX on Osmosis, where you can trade newest coins on the block (pun intended). As its name implies, you better be careful about what are getting involved in. On the otherhand, OSMO devs seem to be preparing for a lending/borrowing protocol on Osmosis. They are feeling the push, since ecosystem getting populated, thus creating a strong $OSMO (which is bleeding badly these days).
Juno Network
We have seen lots of drama since "proposal 16", which is still going on... at this point it became a feud between the star-dev and the whale. General market sentiment and hope-loss on the project made the bleed deeper.
But there are some good news as well, long waited Junoswap and $RAW airdrop, which will likely to happen at 1st of May. yay!
We have seen $bFOT thunder for a while... seem like it's not going very well anymore. Anyway...
Crescent Network
Finally arrived Crescent Network which provides multi-chain asset exchange and capital-efficient liquidity incentivization, it was the smoothest and clever launch we have ever seen on Cosmos, very cool airdrop claiming process that guides you to use all the features. The network saw a small attack since it was gasless (fear of many gasless DEX at this point).
Gno.land
Announced by the co-founder of Cosmos Jae Kwon his new project's airdrop, gno.land, which is new Layer 1 project project built on Cosmos enabling smartcontracts and more. A quick reminder, snapshot will be on July 4th for $ATOM holders, stakers and probably ATOM-OSMO LP'ers. Mark your calenders.
