Have you heard of Emberfund yet?
I've been dreaming of an app like this for a while.
It wasn't really an app in my head, but a trading bot that lazy traders like me could subscribe to and basically just let the bot do all the work. Of course the bot would be programmed according to some genius trader's strategies, so it would be much smarter and more successful than if I were to trade myself.
And then I found Emberfund - which basically does what I couldn't quite imagine in my head, only even better, and handier and much prettier, too!
Emberfund is an app for Android and iOs, which offers several different crypto hedge funds. They are managed by well-known crypto experts like Marius Kramer (Quora Bitcoin Expert) or DataDash (Youtuber). So, not really a bot, but actual people!
With as little as $100 you can invest in one or more of those hedge funds, and every time the hedge fund manager makes a change in asset allocation (e.g. increases the % of one coin and lowers another, or completely removes a coin), you get a notification, so you can hit the "Rebalance" button in your app and update your own allocation accordingly.
That's it. Lazy, stress-free trading.
This is a fantastic solution for investors,
- who are not super confident yet
- who don't want to risk too much money
- who appreciate the advice of crypto experts, on which coins to actually buy
- who have only been hodling so far, but now also want to have an extra portfolio where they get expert help to take profits every now and then, and buy in at a lower price again.
The best thing about Emberfund?
You keep full ownership of your private keys! Thats pretty unique for this sort of thing and means that Emberfund actually has no competitors so far. Keeping ownership of your coins and keys means you can sell your portfolio any time and get your money out, should you need it. Also, nobody can run away with it...
This makes crypto investing - especially for newbies - sooo much easier!
And with crypto prices still being low at the moment, your $100 might go a long way! (Please note, in some cases, like the Marius fund, $100 will not give you full functionality - you'll need a minimum of $300 to be able to use the Rebalance button.)
