For the last few weeks, crypto has really been "stuck" so to speak as it had a range and did not really leave it. While it was not a bad thing or something to be nervous about it was something that you needed to keep an eye on! During this time I decided I would test out Harvest new Uniswap V3 pools which come with a completely new way to deposit your assets into LP pools.
I personally used the DAI-ETH pool as I felt it would be the best pool no matter the market as if Eth explodes in price the usage of the pool and the yield I would get out of it would be 110% worth it. Also since it gave part of its yield in iFARM instead of FARM the transition fees would be less if they went back up again. When I did this initially the APY was around 70% which I was thrilled to see. When it fell back down to around 50% I still was pumped by that and more than willing to accept.
Since I started a new job I have not checked in all that much on how Harvest yields were going but I had to look today after Harvest actually tweeted out about it! THE YIELD HAD EXPLODED TO A WHOPPING 700%! Now since I was at work I could not really do anything about it and so I just let it roll. When I got off work and finally had time to look at it the APY had "fallen" to "only" 375%! That is an absolute killer steal for how the market has been acting. I was a little worried I would start incurring an impairment loss however my balance has stayed very stable and my iFARM earnings have exploded!
Now always remember to do your own research I really encourage that because for every hit I have there is also a miss or so. Crypto is hard to gauge world right now with how the market is stagnant still even with the price boosts across several coins. This is where I will say I am happy that a couple of weeks ago I had moved my DAI over to Harvest farm as it's yielding a nice 7%. To some people that is not very good but look when I am busy and the platform continues to deliver it is amazing! Once I get more settle at the new job I will be able to allocate my time accordingly but I am still trying to figure that out!
