My go-to favorite browser out there right now is Brave Browser. I have used Brave since roughly 2019 if I am remembering correctly not too long after they launched the Browser (Version 1.0). Back then the Browser was extremely bare bones but it did its job of stopping cookies extremely well and it is a night and day difference compared to what it once was. One of the things that the Brave team has always been on top of and done really well is communicating with its audience and releasing constant updates via its blog. In rare cases, you have to check their Twitter to see what is in the pipeline but typically it is there as a last resort. That is until this month.

For the last few months now the Brave team has been pumping out several blog post announcements a month however June had just one blog post and so far (as of today's post July 30th) July has had zero posts or updates. When checking on their Twitter a lot of what they have posted is really recycled from previous blog posts or asked very generic questions. There are not really any notable updates like we have been accustomed to seeing.

Now what this exactly means is not entirely clear but is something I think we should all keep an eye on. It could just be that after a ton of updates and partnerships, Brave is in a sit-and-wait state as they see these partnerships take root and see what could or needs to be worked on. Given how active they have been during the crypto winter, it is a pretty odd sign that now is when they are taking this pause. I will say though that my BAT awards have remained pretty high as this month I have earned a little over 7 BAT. Hopefully, they surprise us with some huge update or something soon but for right now all is quiet on the front.
