Brave Browser Rewards Surprise

Brave Browser Rewards Surprise

I have to say Brave's team has really continued to excel these last few months. Between all of the features rolling out and the progress made in development, I sometimes forget the initial reason I began to use this web browser was to earn BAT. That was in the fall of 2019 and now as I have learned more and more about digital security and privacy issues we all face I really just think of the browser as a way to throw up an additional layer of protection.

While like anyone else I have loved earning BAT it does not have the best functionality yet. It has come a long way and you can buy gift cards through them but if you do want to utilize BAT elsewhere it is really a struggle to do so. It has gotten better as I was able to move roughly 9 months' worth of BAT out of Uphold last month when the gas fees plummeted to next to nothing. I still do wish they would bring back the referral program and I don't even care if they dramatically cut it back while they are at it.

This month I knew my overall earned BAT total was going to decrease with the new job and not using my computer at all during the work hours initially. What I did not take into consideration is the ad adjustment that would occur once the month ended and payments were generated.

This month I had one computer with estimated earning at 0.95 BAT and the other at 1.8 BAT. The payments I got through where much better at 1.2187901866423263 and 2.0170393504176514 which ya just love to see. I knew I had seen quiet a few ads but forgot to keep up with how many I had seen at the end of the month so I don't have that number but it was not anywhere near what it typically is.

It is really nice to see the development team continue the trend I realized a few months ago with adjusting the final payout accordingly. From what I have gotten the adjustments have never been down either (well at least for this year) and I would rather someone under promise and over deliver then vice versa!
