Greetings Devs, Bloggers, and Crypto enthusiasts!

Today, I'll be briefly covering the latest update to Brave Nightly v1.32.2, or commit code 8ef2602. In addition, I'll be looking at Brave Software's planned Release Schedule and Road-Map from their GitHub.



This is the Road-Map in question. We are just past the 1.32.X upload date on the schedule. I would have done my usual feature review/documentation of the Nightly update that was pushed under the commit code listed above, but no noticeable features have been changed (for now). That so happens to make this the perfect time to discuss when their next important updates will be taking place. Albeit this article is written from factual information, there will be some minor speculation about upcoming feature additions.

With that stated, let's take a look at the build schedule for Nightly on their Road-Map.



The build schedule is basically Monday thru Friday at 7AM, 1PM, and 7PM EST everyday. Which is a rather engaged upload schedule, being that it's 3 times a day on normal business operation days. Looking at their build dates for Nightly, originally, 1.32.X was supposed to be released September 14th 2021. It's release was pushed back 3 days later until the 17th, with the next major build 1.33.X being released soon, on October 12, 2021 prospectively.



If you're curious about Stable, Beta or Dev channel updates, they're listed on the Road-Map at the top of the article. 

Now; for the speculation. It seems that Brave has plans to intergrade 1.32.X into stable by November 9th, which by that date Nightly will have entered 1.34.X, and will have the latest commits migrated into it's releases as you may have seen here before written in previous articles.



By then, we may see Brave finalize the integrated native wallet in it's flags (which you can enable here if you want to mess around with it). It is unknown if they plan to allow BAT payout to it, however it is speculated that this is why they're making a wallet of their own. Very intriguing, but we are going to just have to wait and see.



Or even perhaps TOR window support finally added to Android or iOS even. This has been a feature asked for by some time who are aware of it's feature in Brave on Desktop. It would not interfere with Brave's plans to add VPN to Desktop either, however.



Albeit, Brave has also detailed inside said flags about their VPN (which needs a lot to be finished), I talked about a few articles before, it will more than likely not be functional by the Nightly build-date of Nov. 9th.

In summarization, Brave Nightly is now v1.32.2, with many more functionality and features to come. I'm looking forward to seeing a native Brave wallet, and that gorgeous VPN GUI working for Desktop.
