Oleanders

By marjuanm | Brushstrokes of the Day | 5 Nov 2025

Hi, these flowers are called "Oleanders", but in Mexico we call them carnations (again, they're not related at all, haha).

They are plants with very fragrant flowers, excellent for a garden. Besides being elegant blooms, they fill the garden with their scent every morning. The photograph was taken in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico, a few years ago.
