We know these beautiful flowers locally as "Flor de Mayo", which are Plumeria rubra, an ornamental plant that is covered in yellow, pink, or red flowers, coincidentally as the month of May approaches, hence its name.

It grows to about three meters tall and becomes a small tree, but very striking for its flowers. These photographs were taken a few years ago in the city of Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico, specifically in the city's main square.

Hola que tal a todos, espero se encuentren con bien, mil gracias por su apoyo visitando estas publicaciones.

Estas bonitas flores localmente las conocemos como "Flor de mayo", las cuales son Plumeria rubra, una planta de ornato que se cubre de flores en color amarillo, rosa o rojo, coincidentemente al acercarse el mes de mayo, de ahí su nombre.

Llega a crecer alrededor de unos tres metros para convertirse en un árbol no muy grande, pero muy llamativo por sus flores. Estas fotografías fueron tomadas hace unos años en la ciudad de Tampico Tamaulipas, México, concretamente en la plaza principal de la ciudad.
